"Elijah are you okay?" Madeline asked as she finally found him in a compartment in the middle of the train. There was four first years, including Elijah in the room.
"Yeah, I'm okay, but what was that? It really scared us." Elijah asked.
"I'm not sure, it's never happened before." Madeline said, Elijah shrugged.
"Well, it's over now I guess."
"Who's this?" A little blond girl asked, she had two pig tails, that had bubble gum pink hair ties in it.
"My sister."
"Your a princess!" Another little black girl said, Madeline noticed how cute her hair looked, it was a small afro that had some flowers in.
"Yes, I am."
"Wow." She whispered,
"I'm going to go back to my compartment, I just wanted to check on you." Madeline said,
"No, we're all good." Elijah said, Madeline nodded.
"Alright," She said, waving goodbye to the little group before walking back to her compartment, making sure not to look at Malfoy, still embarrassed.

The group of friends sat down at the Slytherin table, waiting for Professor McGonagall to bring the first years in and see what house Elijah is going to be in. Madeline couldn't help but notice, Pansy Parkinson, one of her dormmates, eyeing Malfoy as they sat down.
"Hi Draco," She giggled as she walked past.
"Hi Pansy." Malfoy nodded, as she sat down. Madeline looked between the two, as the great hall doors were pushed open, and Professor McGonagall walked in with the first years. She walked to the front of the room, the roll of parchment already in her hands. The sorting hat's mouth and eyes ripped open and started singing. Once it was done, Professor McGonagall picked the hat up and read the first name.
"Abigial Anderson." She read, a little girl walked up to the stool, and sat down. McGonagall put the hat on the girl's head. For a minute nothing happened, until the hat finally shouted,
"Gryffindor!" The Gryffindor house started cheering, as the little girl hoped off the stool, handed the hat to Professor McGonagall and walked to the Gryffindor table, where she was met with several greetings from her new housemates.
Soon, most of the students had been sorted into their houses, and finally it was Elijah's turn. He strolled up to the hat very confidently, and Professor McGonagall placed it on his head.
"Hufflepuff!" The house shouted, Madeline grinned at him as he got off the hat, and walked to the table that was cheering louder than all the other houses had.
Then Dumbledore stood up, welcoming the students to a brand-new year, and making a few announcements.
"Finally, on a more disquietingnote, Hogwarts -- at the requestof the Ministry of Magic -- will, until further notice, play host tothe Dementors of Azkaban. The Dementors will be stationed atthe entrances to the grounds. Whilethey are under strict orders not toenter the castle itself, you will onoccasion see them as you go aboutyour daily activities. Under nocircumstances are you to approachthem. It is not in the nature ofa Dementor to be forgiving. But that is all, I now leave you all to enjoy your feast." He warned, the hall burst into whispers, the students looked around at each other confused as food appeared and they started their meal, before heading upstairs to go to bed.
