The months blurred by the wizard world was growing worse and worse, you-know-who had taken over...everything. Today was September 1st, her friends were boarding the Hogwarts, express without her for the first time ever. She hadn't seen any of her friends or Draco since that night Dumbledore died.
"Madeline, eat your breakfast. We have a... long day," Her father said, running a hand through his hair. Madeline had never seen her father like this. His hair, which usually never had a single hair out of place, was tasseled and messy, there were deep purple smudges under his eye, his face pale. William picked up a letter from the prime minister, she felt a pang of sadness, the wizard world was in trouble, but so was the muggle world, and it was taking a toll of her father.
"Yes father." She whispered, looking back down at her breakfast plate.
"Today is September first." Elijah said, pushing around his hashbrowns.
"You're not going to Hogwarts. We've already discussed that." His mother said, Elijah's lips thinned, putting his fork down.
"I've invited my girlfriend and her parents to stay with us."
"What did you do?" Wiilliam whispered, putting the letter down, Elijah sat up straighter, lifting his head up higher under his father's displeased gaze.
"I invited Michelle and her family."
"Why would you do that?"
"Because her parents a muggle borns, she has as much risk to be...targeted as us. I want her to be protected."
"Do you think that I'm able to entertain anyone right now? My country is going through a disaster after disaster. The other world, the one I've been trying to get under my control for years is about to destroyed."
"I. Dont. Care." Elijah said slowly,
"Elijah Ayer!" His mother hissed, but he didn't spare her a look. Elijah and William glared at each other, having a silent conversation but Elijah wouldn't budge, finally his father tipped his chin. He pressed the red button on the table, and a butler, Harry, walked inside the dining room, he bowed to the family before walking up to the dining table.
"Call Michael and Jackson. I need to speak to them in my office."
"Yes, Your Majesty." He said, he bowed again before walking out of the dining room and shut the door behind him.
"Madeline, let's go. The prime Ministor will be here any minute." Her father said standing up, Madeline whipped her mouth with a napkin following her father out for another long day.

"People are getting restless, Your Majesty. Somethings...going on. People are going missing, the hospitals are filled with people who are getting attacked, the bridge is still under repair-" Madeline tuned out the rest of the Minister's worries, her mind drifting towards Draco, wondering where he was, if he was okay, or if he was hurt. The last time she saw him, she begged him not to leave the common room, but he did it anyway. There was a knock on the door pulling Madeline out of her daze.
"Your Majesty, Your Highness, Prime Minister." Michael said before he bowed.
"Your Majesty, you said to let you know when your guests we're here. They've just arrived." Willam nodded, standing up. Madeline followed her father's lead, shutting her notebook, her father had told her to write down anything important, but she didn't feel writing anything today.
"I'm sorry to cut this short Mr. Gray, but I've got to go greet my guests. We can continue our meeting next week. Alright?"
"Of course, Your Majesty. Your Highness." Mr. Gray said, he bowed to the King and Princess before he walked out the room. Michael followed them out, as they walked to the drawing room, discussing there meeting with the prime minster.
