It all happened so fast that Madeline didn't even realize that she was boarding the train to go back home. Cedric was dead, they had there last Hogwarts feast for the year, where Professor Dumbledore had announced to the students that You-know-who had returned, and killed Diggory.
"This is bullshit, you-know-who couldn't have returned, he's dead, he died years ago." Daphne said, shaking her head.
"Potter's gone mad, we all read that article Rita Skeeter wrote. He's gone mad." Theo said, as the train started moving and leaving the Hogsmeade station.
Draco on the other hand wasn't thinking about Potter or his may or may not be true, and he had a feeling it was true, ever since his father hadn't written anything about his relationship with Madeline, and now he was coming home to where his father was going to greet him, and he'd be at that screwed up home.
"Are you all right Draco?" Madeline asked him, he blinked several times, shaking his head.
"I'm fine," He answered, intertwining her hand with his, he stared out the window, watching as Hogwarts was getting farther and farther.

King's crossing was as busy as it usually was, Madeline and Draco scanned for their parents, they had already said goodbye to their friends who had found their parents easily and had probably gone home by now.
"You're highness!" Someone shouted, Madeline turned around seeing Michael and Jackson, they both bowed to her before Jackson took Madeline's bags. Michael grinned at Draco pointing between Madeline and Draco.
"So, you two. I've read the articles-"
"You read witch weekly?" Draco cut off raising his eyebrows at his brother.
"No that's not what I mean-"
"Then how did you read-"
"Loser," Jackson whispered, Michael glared at them.
"That is not what I meant! My wife showed it to me you assholes. Anyway, it's true, isn't it?" Michael asked, Draco smirked, nodding.
"Wow, I knew this was going to happen. Everyone saw that it was coming-"
"No one did," Madeline said,
"Yeah, it was a surprise to everyone,"
"That's not true, even I saw it coming." Jackson smirked, pushing the cart back and forth.
"I need new guards." Madeline signed,
"No you don't. We're amazing." Jackson said, before Draco spotted his father watching them. He smiled at Draco, but it wasn't a kind smile, Draco could see the rage in his eyes even from here.
"You don't have to with him, come stay with me." Michael whispered, as Madeline kept fighting with Jackson about guards.
"I can't, he'll just come get me."
"I'll protect you,"
"I'll be fine." Draco said, but they both knew he was lying, before Michael could say one more word, Draco turned to Madeline and said goodbye, he looked over at his father who was saying hello to Mr. Crabbe, and kissed Madeline, before he walked to his father.
"Draco, ready to go?" Mr. Malfoy asked,
"Yes, father."
