I was gonna be late and when I say late I don't mean an hour late I mean like three hours late! I thought to myself they are definitely going to freaking fire me. I had been late for work exactly 10 times this month and Sharroyl told me Friday of last weekend if I was late one more time she would have no choice but to write me up.. When grabbing my coat from the closet, I accidentally poured my cup of coffee down my leg..
I did not have any time to change my pants either. I really could not lose this job, I liked it a lot.. More importantly though it was an easy job, giving tours in an old castle. I mean who wouldn't love this job? Anyways, back to the running late situation. I stuffed my packaged lunch into my beige tote bag and then proceeded to fling the bag over my shoulder as I hurried out the door without even locking it behind me.
Running through my apartment's stale hallway I could hear my footsteps echoing, I reached the outside door and could see Bob,Jill, and Maureen all standing on the sidewalk.
