"Lia please.. Aye can't lose you," he softly said. I wrapped my arms around him, holding him close. "You won't, I promise you, but we need to do this together." I could feel the weight of his chest lighten as his perspective started to shift. I pulled back from Frances so our eyes could meet, "I will never leave you. Do you understand me.."

I swore to him that I would stay by his side as long as we both lived, and that would forevermore be an oath I kept to Frances. "Aye am not worried about you leaving by choice, aye am fearful of you parting from me due to fatality. It would ultimately be the greatest casualty and lead to my own demise. Aye cannot lose ye". I leaned in and kissed him like my life depended on it.

I could tell how scared he was of losing me but, the thing Frances didn't know was that I was inevitably just as fearful of losing him.. He kissed me back in such a salacious form I feared that the coachman and footman would tell my father of our canoodling,
