I could see written plain as a summer eves day that the chamberlain did not trust me being in any form of authority, the chamberlain after all did hold a large majority of authorization over the nation's well-being but, I had not seen the chamberlain once at court or with the people of Islaraven. This man had no idea what was going on inside our country but I could tell their only concern was money.
I knew that there were a lot of ongoing issues and we could not fix all of them. It would be satisitically unrealistic, however I had made a list of all the things I wanted to address and then I adjusted that list into a pros or cons list of how it would affect our people. This was a tactic I had used at many points throughout my life to make big decisions.
I know it must sound ridiculous that a tiny little list would be the deciding factor of what I believed we should or shouldn't do to secure our home's legacy.
