The castle being opened in this fashion did bring job's and money into the town which was a good thing but I absolutely hated the tourists. I knew that the majority of the passengers who sat on this boat with me were also headed to Raven Castle. There was an odd feeling in the air, as we docked at the port. All I could do was hope that god was not sending me a sign that I was about to be fired because I felt nervously sick to my stomach.
Everyone filed down the wooden plank and onto the grass which looked particularly green today. I parted from the group of tourists and made my way towards the castle's entrance which was far less steps than people imagine. People are always amazed that it's only about twenty steps to reach the door of the castle. I wasn't sure if this made our visitor's aware of the realization that most castles aren't like these elaborate fairy tales they see on tv.
I opened the large wooden door, and walked inside the darkened castle to find Sharroyl my boss and beg her to not fire me. Sydney found me before I found Sharroyl.
