Gisaelle rose to her feet, and then bowed. I rushed to her side, hugging her tightly. 'Thank you Gisaelle for all your help '' I said. Gisaelle hugged me back lightly. She definitely had never been hugged by a member of the royal court and it was uncustomary for royal members to touch non-royals.. I was thankful for Gisaelle.
She had been the closest thing to a motherly figure I had ever known in this land, it was gonna be hard leaving behind my ladies-in-waiting. The guards entered the room grabbing the large wooden chest of clothes. The guards escorted the chest, carrying it down to the carriages that waited below. I allowed Meradeth to pin my hair into a simple braid.
She fastened a few delicate white flowers around the silk tie holding my hair in place. Meradeth bowed to me, before exiting the room. Sylian... Sydney, came into my room lastly to say her good-bye.
