She didn't answer my question, instead she opened the palm of her hand as wide and placed a pinch of dirt into the center. Sydney closed her eyes and reached out her other hand for me to grab onto. I held onto Sydney's hand and she guided us through the tall grass around us.
"Close your eyes Lia," Sydney said. I closed my eyes tightly, visions came swooping in. A beautiful woman, elegantly twirled around in circles through the long grass. A large sparkly crown sat upon her head, she was mesmoirizing. I could see the woman reach down and rub her growing belly. "I love you Azalia," the woman said.
I dropped Sydney's hand and stepped backwards away from her. That was a vision of my mother, I had just seen about nineteen years in the past. She was pregnant with me little did my mother know during that sweet encounter that I would steal her life force from her only a few months later. "I have the gift of seeing the past, present, and the future.
