I was not super outwardly emotional so this was rather an uncomfortable situation for me. I rose from the floor wiping my face with the back of my hand, "what are you looking at?" I said.

Sylian glanced at me for only a moment before returning back to staring out the paned glass window."Why don't you come over here and take a look," Sylian said. I slumped over to the window and sat down beside her. I really did not care about what was going on outside but it was something to take my mind off the current events of today.

I absolutely couldn't believe it when I saw Thomas and Frances, dueling in the courtyard. Their shiny blades clashing together as they jousted. I hadn't seen Frances for months. When we arrived at the kingdom of Verdia he was never around.
