We hid behind a tree, Frances placed my back up against it holding my face steady. "Azalia, go. Run for safety! Aye will not be able to forgive myself if somethin happened to ye." His soft lips rushedly kissed me. His eyes swelled with sadness. He didn't want to leave me, and I did not want him to leave. I grabbed onto his black uniform pulling him close to me, "Please.. I knew in my heart that there was no fighting with him. Tears were forming in both of our eyes, I leaned in and kissed him passionately making every second we had left count. I could live here forever in this imprint of time, just him and I. Frances pulled back, the tears covered my face. I watched as he ran towards the Erix.
Their soldiers had fully invaded our side of the barrier. I ran, running as fast as I could. I was not paying attention though everything was disorienting. The cannons disturbed the land causing violent shakes, The guns loudly shot through the air.
