We made our way outside onto the castle grounds, night had fallen all around us. The stars that filled the sky looked flawlessly draped with tiny pin drops. Perfume of the flower petals filled our noses, the garden was magnificent on this wonderful night. The boys ran ahead of us, chasing eachother diving in-and-out of the trees under the moonlight. It illuminated everything around us. It was unbelievably breathtaking.

We ran through the grassy meadow, in our large Victorian dresses. The boys found a spot to sit, Sydney sat down beside me and of course Thomas took the spot on the other side of her, leaving one spot open beside me. Frances sat down right next to me, he leaned over and whispered in my ear "we needa be very quiet, in order to see the action."

I wanted to know what this so-called action was that Frances kept referring to and what it consisted of. Nothing good could come about at nightime in a field then I saw the first flash of light and then another flash, and another.. "Fireflies," I said.
