We came to the hall where we had to part our ways, Sydney asked Frances. "Will you please make sure that Lia get's back to her room please." I did not need a babysitter or someone to help me get back to my room. The castle was virtually the same outline as in our timeline besides it being bigger in certain areas. "Yeh of course aye can.''
Frances said to Sydney but while looking at me winking.. Thomas walked Sydney back to her own room which was just down the hall a little bit from my own. As we approached the door, I could see someone tall standing outside the doorway. It was Pescal, I thanked Frances for accompanying me back to my quarters.
He bowed to me and said, "Always a pleasure princess, sleep well." His accent melted into me like warm sun rays on a summer day. I watched Frances disappear before asking pescal what he was doing here. "King's orders," Pescal said. I was mad, why does everyone keep making me feel like I am incapable of making decisions and choices for myself.
