I had no idea where I was supposed to look, there were so many people below us. The crowd stretched to either side of the court yard, and the rows of people went as far back as the courtyard would allow. I wished that I had my cell phone so I could take a photo and see what I looked like at this very moment. "Would you like to hear what Azalia has prepared to say to her Kingdom?"
My dad yelled out to the crowd. My father was enjoying every single moment of this extravaganza. I did not want to disappoint my father, I knew that this speech meant everything to my father. The next words I spoke would determine whether or not the Kingdom liked me. The people needed to know that I would protect the kingdom and respect the people and their land.
"I swear to govern the people of Islaraven and all the other territories that rely inside or outside the Kingdom according to their respective laws. I am solemnly devoted to our great imperial family Islaraven." I stole that speech from a mixture of movies and novels from my world.
