I only had a few moments to explain the plan to my father and I knew he was not going to be happy about the situation. "Father. I am leaving with Frances to go find where the Erix are capturing the dragons from." A mixture of emotions flickered across my dad's face quickly.
My father's face reddened with anger, distain. It was clear my father was displeased with my choice. "You will do no such thing!," he screamed. I had never heard my father yell, let alone raise his voice at me in such a tone. "I have to go. I need to help Islaraven and I am the only one who is capable of actually stopping the Erix." I yelled back.
The emotions were heightened. My father grabbed one of the glasses from the table and hurled it towards the fireplace. My father was acting so ill mannered, dare I even say childish. My jaw was wide open, frozen in a state of fear.
