His steady embrace was comforting, he stroked my hair. "Azalia, it's okay." Frances said softly into my ear. Nothing in this moment felt okay except for him holding me. I just needed him close to me. Frances escorted me back to my room, where he hugged me tightly. He placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "Ye are Isalraven's Princess, Ye are my Queen.
I will follow ye wherever you guide. Aye will fight beside ye because aye believe in ye." Frances said. I watched him walk down the hallway as long as I could before he disappeared down another hall. I walked into my bedroom and pulled my journal out from underneath my pillow.
I grabbed the hand drawn photo of me. Maybe the people of Islaraven do believe in me. Now that more information about Islaraven had been revealed to me, I was starting to feel more safe but I still felt as though a piece of the puzzle was missing. I sloppily jotted down everything that I had found out so far about Islaraven, before laying my head down onto my pillow.
