It was nearly black outside but we could still see pretty clearly.. Sydney looked back at me " hurry up. We need to walk quickly, it will be pitch black soon and we won't be able to see' she said. I was getting annoyed with Sydney. We were scrambling through the woods not even sure where we were going and what happened. I ripped my hand back out of hers.
"Sydney, just freaking stop for a moment! I don't even get a moment to process what is going on?" I felt bad for yelling at Sydney again but this was just all so confusing. "Trust," Sydney said. We both had gone through things in our lives that made it difficult for us to trust anyone but when we said that one word the whole world fell away.. That one word meant so much in our friendship..
My dress continuously made me trip as we ran through the woodland. We finally made it to the edge of the woods where we came upon a dirt road. We walked a few more miles before I could see a dule hue of light through the darkness.
