Insane in the membrane-Stranger things

Another author's note(actually a ramble)

Hiya!! So I haven't abandoned ya'll and I won't leave ya'll hanging either when season 5 actually releases. I'm actually getting really impatient. Anybody else? I don't think I can  wait until November, it's silly that they won't just release it because they are done filming but the anticipation is killing me. 

Don't get me wrong I still love this TV series with my whole heart and soul but it shouldn't take two whole years to make a great TV show they are just milking it at this point. Stranger Things has an insane runtime in season 5. The episodes are eight blockbuster movies like yeah I get it but if you wanted to make eight blockbusters movies then why not make an actual movie? It's ruined the course of TV for the future like episodes of a TV shouldn't be 1 hr and 40 mins or more, that's movie length! Proper episodes of a TV series should be at least 43 mins, 59 mins max. It's silly to make it more than that! 

It's also pretty concerning that the younger cast members of the show like Millie Bobby Brown etc are still in fucking high school like how are you meant to comprehend that to me when the cast are in their early-mid twenties? It's like casting a 30 year old to play a teenager which always baffled me in earlier movies and tv shows. Like  the cast might have been eligible to play teenagers in 2016-2019 but you're telling me that they are still playing teenagers and fighting monsters and aliens? I just...I can't comprehend that. Just release the show already and let the actors breathe and go on to better projects where they don't have to sign a fucking contract with Netflix to ensure they stay on the show. It's stupid. And how the fuck has the show been on the air since 2016 and is still airing in 2025 and having its new season? Like yeah I understand that with the COVID 19 virus screwing with plans and filming but season 4 released after COVID so now there's no stopping them from filming and finishing season 5. 

However, on a happier note I am still excited for the final season regardless of all the issues I have it but once I've finished the show it'll probably be forgotten I'm telling you now. The cast will always be known for that role they played in the show but I'm done rambling now.

I just had to get this off my chest. It's more a ramble than anything else but I am excited and will get this fic done and out of my way so I can write other projects too. 

Anyways though I'll see ya'll in 8-9 months time for season 5.
