Chapter 6

Eva's Pov

It's been a week since I have talked to Rafael. I'm still mad at him for snapping at me. I know he's under stress but he can't take it out on me. Mark and I are officially dating and it's going great.

I'm walking down the hallway when I see Michael and my brother with Rafael in...handcuffs? Petra standing behind them. Rafael's eyes meet mine as he keeps telling the cops he did nothing. I watch them walk and walk up to Petra when I notice her black eye.

"What just happened " I ask shocked.

"Rafael assaulted me as you can tell from my eye I had to report it" she says calmly. My eyes widen

"What" I scream as she shrugs and walks away.

As mad as I am at him I know he would never hurt anyone. I need to call a lawyer.

The lawyer got him out on bail but he still needed to spend the night in jail. We are signing the release papers yet to talk.

"Thank you Eva." He said looking at me.

"No problem." I say not looking back at him.

"I'm sorry about the other week, I was mad and I blew up on you and you didn't deserve it. I'm sorry." He says

"You're right I didn't deserve it and you were under a lot of stress but you don't need to take it out on me." I say finally looking at him." Other than that you're forgiven." I say as we get into the car.

"Hey I had to tell you something"he says looking at me as I drive.

"What is it"I ask keeping my eyes on the road

"I think I have feelings for Jane." He says as I slam the breaks. My heart dropping to my feet.

"Ow! Eva." He whines has he jerks forward.

"You have feelings for Jane." I say a weird feeling settling in my stomach.

"Well I think." He starts rambling and I freeze. What am I feeling and why I'm dating Mark.

"Are you ok"he asks looking at me.

"Yeah I'm fine actually you remember Mark." He nods "Well we're officially dating." I tell him and his face falls.

"Oh well when am I meeting him." He asks as I start driving again.

"We've been dating barely 3 days you are not meeting him." I say

"Why not all your boyfriends need to be approved by me." He says

"Says who?" I ask, whining.

"Says me after you dated John" He says reminding me of John and my face falls.

Flashback

We had just gotten back to the hotel John walking me up to my room. My dad was out of town on business and Chris was at college. We walked into the room. As I turned to face him he locked the door and turned around looking at me with a look that made me feel very uncomfortable.

I turned around to walk towards the door thinking of an excuse to get him to leave. When he grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him. He starts kissing and undressing me while I scream at him to stop. Eventually my voice gave up on me. He left after he was done.

End of Flashback

Before I knew it we were at the Marbella and Rafael was talking to Jane not noticing I hadn't stepped out of the car. I never told him what John did. I just told him he cheated on me. I wish he cheated on me.

Raf and I decided he should talk to Petra wearing a wire. So we catch her confess. When we listen to the recording she didn't confess. Damn it.

The next day Raf came up to me telling me he confessed to Jane about his feelings. That wired feeling settling back in my stomach. We quickly change the topic and he tells me he found a witness willing to testify against Petra.

I ran into Jane who looked a little sad

"Hey what happened." I ask her

"I broke up with Michael." She said looking ready to cry.

She excused herself to talk to her dad. We watch Xo's performance which was amazing.

I step out to find Rafael. Only to see him kissing Jane.

Tears form in my eyes as I walk away
