Chapter 94

Eva's Pov

Rafael and I had started planning the wedding. We were looking at having the wedding outdoors which leads my dress choice. Who better to go dress shopping with than Jane and Xiomara.

Petra is now three-forth owner of the Marbella making her majority owner and she has never been happier. She had asked Rafael to introduce her to Chef Ludo. A friend of Rafael's. He said he was okay getting back into the hotel business.

Lina had come back to visit. She had asked Jane to donate one of her eggs so her and Danny could conceive. She couldn't think of anyone better than Jane. We all thought it was a terrible idea.

Petra had offered Rafael a job and a percentage of everything going forward, she even reset his office to the way it was.  We'd be working together again since I also still have my shares of the hotel. We had to go to a bar with Petra and Ludo. It is so loud in here. I just didn't do a lot since I wasn't involved a lot. Rafael had also kept his job as a realtor meaning he is very busy.

Mateo had overheard Rafael say the words Mateo, brother/sister. So Mateo got confused. He thought he was getting a sibling and Mateo had ended up telling his school that Jane was having a baby.

Jane had ended up telling Lina she would give Lina her eggs but Lina said no. She said she couldn't complicate their friendship and she would ask her sisters.

Petra and Rafael had gotten into an argument. They are not working together anymore. Rafael had missed our meeting with the officiant because of the meeting with Ludo. The reverend ended up questioning Rafael's commitment to the relationship and I went off on him.

Rafael had gone to the reverend to try to get him back so I ran every red light I came across to get him to stop.

All the talk about kids had made Rafael realise he didn't want more kids. His life feels full, I completely agree I am going to have three step kids along with my kid.

It ended up raining and Clara wanted to go outside in it. I made her wear her raincoat and we went out in the rain. We stayed out until the rain was over. Right after that I got her in the bath. After she was cozy. I took a shower. Later that night after I tucked her in I realised that I couldn't stop sneezing.

Rafael kept texting me but I had turned off my phone. He showed up at my apartment to see how I was. I had actually gotten a fever from earlier that day in the rain. As much as I didn't want to get Rafael sick I also didn't want him to leave.

While cuddled in bed Rafael called Petra and they made up. We found out the next morning that Petra's car had crashed.
