Chapter 95

Eva's Pov

I had to stay home since I didn't have the strength to move. I just took a bunch of antibiotics and I was feeling better but I also had Clara. Rafael had told me Petra's mother was in a coma. Petra's first thought was of the girls what would happen if she died. Then she realised they had a stepmom they'd be fine. And that's when it hit me. I have stepchildren.

The new stores had opened in Georgia and we had completely sold out. I needed to design and fast. After a whole three weeks I ended up designing an entire line for teens and adults and elders. I had officially designed for every generation. Right after I was done I took a shower.

Petra had asked me to pick up the girls and have them stay over at our house. She had given me all these rules.

Looking after the girls was harder than I thought she had given me 800 rules to follow through. Plus the girls were pretty sneaky. The girls had ended up playing on their iPad when I said they couldn't. I had mentioned it to Petra who freaked out which made the girls think I'm a snitch.

Luisa had ended up coming by the apartment. She had asked Rafael for a tie tack that her father had given her. Rafael ended up taking the tie tack to the police since if Louisa wanted it. It might have something to do with Rose.

Rafael had gotten busy so I had to pick up the girls from school even though I had to get the designs to the stylists so they could print it on the fabric I had selected. I took the twins with me and they had fun telling people what to do. They actually had good ideas and we made a breakthrough.

After it was done we got home, we would have the clothes made in the next three months. Mateo had accidentally grabbed Jane's manuscript while leaving their house.

"Our story begins..." Mateo read as Rafael and I looked at each their and shock and leapt over the sofa.

"Mateo you just read that." I scream. Even Mateo was happy about it. He was falling behind in his class in reading. Now he can read.

Petra had told me that the girls told her that they helped me work. She was mad and started scolding me so I snapped. I'm not the kids nanny she can't just bark orders to me expecting me to follow through. While we were having this conversation Petra got a call from the hospital. Her mother is now on life support.

She told me we need to continue this in the car. We reached the hospital and she couldn't do it. She couldn't unplug her mother off of life support. Even though how horribly her mother treated her. It is still her mother.
