What is up with this guy. Weasley Masters. The same guy who wrote the article about The Solano family now owns a website specifically catered to bringing down the Marbella. Most recently he uploaded a video about how the Marbella was associated with Mutter and Sin Rostro.
In other news Petra is off of bed rest and is now back in her office where we are currently present.
"Okay I have a little bad news but I need you to stay calm." Rafael tells us
"In the history of time has telling anyone to stay calm actually helped them stay calm?" I ask him.
"I just got word the Hillcroft-Stanton wedding is being moved to a different hotel." He says
"What? Because of that website? Rafael this is a huge wedding. And it in two weeks. If they move, everyone will know why,their friends will follow." Petra says as she moves her feet off the table.
"Stay—" Raf satrts
"Don't say it!" Petra cuts him off
"I wasn't. Stay. Paying attention. Look. Please." Rafael saves himself and puts Petra's feet back on the cushion
"I know Izzie Hillcroft a little, from, you know, back in the day. She's having an art opening tomorrow. Me and Eva can go assure her the hotel is safe,that this is all behind us,and you know... charm her a little." He says
"You really think you can charm a woman about to get married?" Petra asks
"It worked with you." Raf tells her and I stifle a laugh.
We are now at the art opening and Petra came along to ensure we wouldn't blow it.
"For starters stay on point. You are not affiliated in any way, with anything drug related. You've had no relationship with your mother for over 20 years." Petra gets cut off by Rafael spotting Izzie
"Got it. There she is." He says and we walk over
"Izzie. Hey. It's good to see you." Rafael says
"You have got to be kidding me." She says
"Okay. Look, I'm sorry to just show up here like this. And I get how you might think poorly of me, given my family's been in the news." He says before Izzie cuts him off
"You? This isn't about you. It's about her." She says looking at Petra.
"After the news reports, I realised that Petra is affiliated with the Marbella again." She says and we look at Petra in bewilderment.
"I'm sorry have we met?" Petra asks the woman
"Once. About five years ago. I was working as a barista and you flipped out on me when I accidentally spilled your coffee. And I got fired." She says
"Maybe you're confusing me with someone else." Petra says to the woman.
"Do you know who I am?" The woman asks her
"Izzie Hilcroft." Petra answered.
"No that's what you said to me. On the bright side it inspired one of my best works. I call it the trophy wife." She said and showed us a statue of Petra surrounded with gold and money and jewellery but still having an angry look on her face.
"Available for purchase, of course. Just like the best of them." She says and walks away
"Do you remember that time she was talking about?" Raf asks her.
"No. But I'm sure Izzie provoked it by—" Petra cuts herself off "I can fix this. I will fix this." She says and walks away.
"Is it wrong that I want to buy this?" I ask Rafael.
"No, I kind of want to buy this too." He says and we finally let out the laughs we've been hiding.
Petra's idea of 'fixing it' means calling an art critic and it did not work out.
"I wish you would have consulted with me first." Raf says
"I didn't." Raf cuts Petra off
"I could have made calls." He says.
"I wanted to take care of this myself." Petra said
"Why?" Raf asks
"Because I am not some useless trophy wife, okay?" Petra says
"Just for the record I never thought you were." Raf said
"Okay let's not get sentimental, all right? You stole me from your business rival." Petra says
"Yeah, might have been why I was interested in you. But that's not what I loved about you. I loved that you were the person that saved 743 dollars on fish filets." He says
"That might be the answer. Free fish." She says
The next day we are talking to Izzie
"That's your solution." She laughs
"Yes a free wedding." Petra says
"What's the catch?" Izzie asks
"Look the Marbella can't afford the bad press if you cancel. Plus your friends will stay, they'll have a great time and they'll come back. Which is good for us in the long run." Petra explained
"I have one condition." She says. Next thing I know the giant statue of Petra coming out of the trophy was in the middle of the Marbella.
After the wedding I finally went upstairs to my room and hid the giant statue in the back of my closet. God it was worth it.
