Chapter 86

Eva's Pov

Mateo was mad at my brother and Jane for some reason. He was excited to have two families he had made a sibling bond with Lia. I just hoped he would see that they would be okay.

Michael had paid Jane a visit and Chris and Mateo and Rafael happened to be there at the same time. Mateo ended up yelling at Jane that he hates her and Chris said nothing at all and just walked out.

Clara had come down with the flu. I took her to the doctors and he said it was nothing serious so I didn't worry much. Over the night her temperature kept dropping ant raising and she kept throwing up. I ended up freaking out.

Rafael had showed up to the Marbella to see me in a mess. I was sweating and tired and covered in a bit of puke. As soon as he showed up he took over and told me take a shower and get some rest. I took a shower but I couldn't sleep knowing Clara wasn't able to sleep without throwing up.

I went into the room to see Rafael changing the poly bag and throwing the previous one out. He asked her if she was okay. I saw her bed was a little messy so we put her down in my room and I cleaned up the bed.

I walked back into my room to see Clara cuddled up with Rafael as he read her a story and stroked her hair. My heart warmed up. He looked up to me and s lied and motioned for me to come on the bed.

We ended sleeping and Clara stopped throwing up in the middle of the night. We had the poly bag there just in case.

Mateo had told Jane he couldn't come to her birthday since he was sick. Jane thought he was faking but as it turns out he caught the same thing Clara had. I ended up staying at Rafael's that day to help him out. I told Rafael he had to talk to Jane about this.

Mateo said he was mad at his mom until Rafael was. Rafael wasn't mad at Jane, he made that very clear to Mateo. I also mentioned how since my brother and Jane weren't together it's still okay. Since nothing will change for him. If he wanted to do something with Chris I could make him talk to Chris who would be more than happy to spend time with him.

I got to Jane's birthday party and she just sped off as soon as she got there. We all sped off after her. We being me, Petra,Alba and Xiomara

As soon as we got there her pages started flying and we all ran around started to catch them. Jane broke down talking about celebrating without Chris meant she was moving on. Petra also left to save her relationship. We read through the papers and we could see she still had some feelings for Michael.

Mateo was less than happy when we told him he was spending the night at Jane's place. Giving me and Rafael some time. We ended up watching a movie. I was rambling about how the two characters were obviously in love when I heard something from him.

"Marry me." He said looking at me. I froze, my eyes widened as I looked at him his eyes widened too.

"What was that." I say in a high pitched voice and he got up and went upto the drawer. He got a ring from there and went down on one knee.

"I wanted to do this in a more romantic way, but I love you, I have loved you since I was fifteen and we were learning how to drive and we freaked because we crashed. I love when you ramble about things when you're nervous. I love how you care about everyone unconditionally even if you don't like them. You are always there for everyone. I love how you can make me feel like I am the only person in the room. God I wrote a speech which is three pages long but what I am saying is. Will you marry me?" He asked. I was in tears and so was he

"Yes! Yes." I say and I kiss him
