Chapter 44

Eva's Pov

It's the week of Jane's wedding. After this week I can finally tell people about the baby. Rafael's mother was found in an underground shaft in the Fairwick hotel.

Jane texted me saying it's an emergency I run and reach outside her door with Rafael.

"Okay there her Mom put him down. Okay are you watching? Are you ready?" She asks

"For what?" I ask and just as I did Mateo walks towards us. Holy crap he's walking.

"Oh my god." I scream

"He's walking." Rafael screams. God I cannot wait to have this baby.

I stay a lit bit more in the Villanueva suite to see Rogelio freaking out and yelling at someone over the phone

"Luisa is coming." Alba asks. God I cannot wait to see her. She will probably freak out when I tell her about the baby.

"That's what Jane just said."  Xo says

"Be quiet!" Rogelio yelled turning towards us

"Oh, no not you. Her" he says yelling into the phone

"Did you get a response from Dina?" Xo asks him

"She can't make it. Needs to get work done before the strike." Rogelio says

"Okay well if that changes let me know." She says

"Don't you give me attitude." Rogelio yells at us again and I subconsciously put my hand in front of my stomach. Alba definitely noticed where my hand was.

"What." Xo exclaimed

"Not you. Her!" Rogelio says

"Take yourself and your silly apparatus out onto the balcony and let us work on the seating chart. Alba says causing Rogelio to leave. I also take that as my que and bid everyone goodbye.

"Luisa" I scream at her.

"Eva." She screams and runs to hug me

"Careful." I say putting a hand on my stomach. Luisa gasps before she squeals

"Are you pregnant." She says and I nod.

"Is it Rafael." She asks eyes filled with excitement

"No it's my boyfriend." I say and she deflates but is still happy.

"So how are you and Suzanna." I ask her and she shuts me down

"No, first you are telling me who this guy is." She says and I tell her everything.

Third person Pov

Luisa and Rafael are catching up. Rafael saying he's in love with Jane expecting his sister to tell him to
go for it.

"Don't do it. I thought I would never love again the way I loved Rose. But then I met Suzanna, and now I'm starting to feel the same way. Find someone new." She says to her brother

"So you finally gave up on me and Eva?" He asks her with a smile.

"Well I mean she has a serious boyfriend and she's about to have a baby." Luisa says and Rafael's eyes widen

"Baby?" He screams

"Yeah she's pregnant. She didn't tell you?" Luisa asks him

"No she didn't. I have to go." He says and walks out of the room. On his way to her room he could hear two people talking.

Eva and Louis

"After tomorrow." He could hear Louis say

"After tomorrow we can tell everyone." She says and Rafael immediately understood why she didn't say anything to Jane. But she could have told him. He turns the corner to see Louis kiss Eva and then bend down to kiss her stomach. She smiles as he leaves promising to see her tomorrow for the wedding. Knowing she will say something tomorrow. Rafael turned around and walked back to his room.

Eva's Pov

It's finally the day of the wedding and we are all waiting in the alter.Rafael is acting a little weird.

"Raf is something wrong." I ask him.

"Jane's getting married." He says but I could tell something else was bothering him.

After the wedding ceremony I pulled him to the side.

"I have to tell you something." I say and he nods waiting for me to continue

"I'm pregnant." I say and he smiles and hugs me. Slightly picking me up.

"Oh my god." He says with a smile way to big

"Luisa told you?" I ask

"Yes." He says "but I'm so happy for you. Is Louis fine with it? Because if not I would be more than happy to help out however I can." He says

"Louis is thrilled." I say and we head back. Later at the reception Bruno Mars played and he recognised me. I actually knew him from when we were both starting out. We were friends.

Later that night Louisa would go missing and Michael would be shot
