Chapter 98

Eva's Pov

With a ton of help from the investor we had opened stores up in the big cities. Two stores were opened in New York, one in Los Angeles, one in San Francisco. We had been making a lot of money. I'm so happy people liked the stores.

Rafael and I are planning our wedding. He had a checklist. Jane already got to him, she suggested we make lists to keep track. It was the most obvious choice.

We are having a rehearsal dinner at the Marbella and Petra wanted to make a toast which she says is going to be funny. Only problem in that sentence is that Petra's not funny.

The dress was perfect. I got an email from Luisa and I would love to have Luisa marry our spirits but in a private ceremony. Luisa had found Rafael's birth parents.

"You found his parents. His parents aren't crime-lords are they? Rose isn't his mother is she?" I ask instantly

"His parents were just... regular people" Luisa says

"Were?" I ask

"They're dead. Here's everything I could find about them. I thought you should be the one to tell Rafael." She says and hands me a blue file.

I get back home that night to see Rafael in bed with with Clara,Ellie, Anna and Mateo.

"Hey what took you so long?" He asks

"A little issue." I say

"Can I sleep in bed with you guys tonight?" Mateo asks

"No fair! If he gets to then we do too.And no tooting Mateo" The twins say

"It's not tooting if I do it in my sleep." Mateo says

"Yes it is." Clara says

"Official ruling is... it tooting and try not to do it in your sleep tonight." Rafael says before looking over to me "what do you say? Family sleepover." Raf asks me

"Okay, let's do it." I say and they all start screaming

After the kids were asleep I told Rafael about his parents he couldn't believe his parents were normal. He said it was the right time for him to know. I couldn't wait to marry him.

Jane's family had held a rehearsal at Rogelio's set for me and Rafael.

"Eva walk faster. Girls, get back here. Mateo, why are your pants off? Why isn't anyone taking this seriously " Alba yells at us.

"Because this is the third run-through." I say

When Alba decides to take a break Jane got a message

"The publisher is printing advanced galleys of my book this week. They're sending them to authors to review." She says and we immediately tell her it's amazing.

"That's not even the best part. One of the authors is Isabel Allende. Isabel Allende might write a blurb for the back of my book." She says. This would mean a lot to her. Isabel was one of her favourite authors. We all get cut off by the sound of someone throwing up

"Lina are you okay?" I ask her

"Yes. I'm sorry I'm fine. Go on. Isabel something. Yay!" She says and we look at her

"Okay I was gonna wait till after the wedding to tell you but I'm pregnant." She says and we start screaming again. And we hug her.

That night we had the rehearsal dinner speeches were given by Jane, Chris, Xiomara, Luisa and Petra. Through Petra's speech she started crying.

"I wrote these jokes so that I wouldn't get emotional. I just love you two so much. Your love is something I aspire to. And I wish you all the happiness in the world, which is a weird feeling. I don't usually wish happiness on other people." She says and we laugh and I get up to hug her.
