Right after Modi came to tell his mother that Thor was back from Earth, Y/N went straight to see him. When she got to Thor, he was with Loki discussing his time on Earth over the month. Y/N is happy to see Thor back on Asgard. Since Thor has been away for a month, there is a lot of things to discuss about the upcoming coronation and the wedding. When Thor and Y/N were going through this process together, Frigga and Odin were here helping them every step of the way. It's been hard for Y/N to help Magni and Jordahl through the process without Thor being here on Asgard. Thor being back means more insight into tradition and how things are supposed to be.
Helping Magni plan his wedding and coronation makes Y/N think about the past. It was a long time ago but Y/N remembers everything like it was yesterday. The wedding, the coronation, everything she was forced into because she was betrothed to Thor. Its crazy to think that everything was twenty three years ago. Now Thor is with Jane, Y/N is married to Loki. Everything worked out in the end for the both of them.
The next night, Thor wanted the whole family to have dinner together to start off the celebrations for the coronation and the wedding. Y/N and all the children are at the dinner before Thor annd Thena and Aron came from dropping off the twins with the nanny. Y/N came into dinner with Jordahl and Magni, they were discussing wedding details. Modi came with Vali, Modi was showing Vali some new training skills. Thor eventually walks in. Everyone stands for him. Loki is not at the dinner yet.
Thor: You all don't have to stand for me. Everyone sit. We don't have to do all the formalities tonight.
Y/N: You heard your father, everyone sit.
Thor: Where is Loki Y/N?
Y/N: I'm not sure. The last time I saw him was this morning.
Thor: Okay. I'm sure he'll be here soon.
Y/N: Yes.
Thor: Vali, what's up little man? Look at you, you got taller.
Vali: I did get taller Uncle Thor.
Y/N: Where is your father Vali?
Vali: I don't know.
Loki then walks in the room. Loki and Y/N's anniversary is coming up. Loki was late because he was busy planning a weekend to celebrate their anniversary away from Asgard. He lost track of time trying to make sure everything was perfect for Y/N.
Loki: Sorry I'm late. Lost track of time.
Thor: All good Brother. Come sit.
Vali: I saved a seat for you Father.
Loki: Amazing, thank you Vali.
Loki sits down next to Vali.
Thor: Now that everyone is here, let the celebration begin. I'm happy that everyone is here.
Y/N: Dinner should be out in ten minutes!
Thor: Before dinner comes out, I wanted to start with a toast. For Twenty three years, Y/N and I have bee King and Queen of Asgard. I am thrilled to be passing down the thrown to Magni and Jordahl. This has been a long time coming but Magni you are ready to be King.
Magni: Thank you Father.
Thor: Thena, Aron I hear I'm about to be a grandfather to three grandchildren now. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you two.
Thena: Thank you Father, we are very excited!
Thor: I know I don't say this often but I'm very proud of all of you, my children.
Y/N: Magni, Thena, and Modi you have become amazing adults. I am also very proud of you.
Thor: Once the coronation and wedding are completed, I will be moving to earth to be with Jane. Asgard is in great hands. I'm sure of it. This doesn't mean I won't come to visit. You are all my family.
Y/N: Thor. I'm happy for you but don't you think you should stay a little longer after the wedding to help with the transition? Like how your father and mother helped us?
Thor: Magni is ready for this, I'm sure of it. He's spent the last ten years preparing for this. Right Magni?
Magni: Right Father. I am ready to be King and if Jordahl needs any help with the transition into becoming Queen, I'm sure Mother could help. Mother you will be around to help, correct?
Y/N: Of course Magni. I'm not going anywhere. I'd be happy to help.
Thor: See everything will be fine. So it's settled then. I'm moving to Earth. I'm not worried Y/N and you shouldn't worry either.
Loki: I think you should at least stay a month after the wedding Brother. Then you can move to Earth with Jane. Jane would understand.
Y/N: A month would be good. I agree with Loki. A month is better then nothing.
Thor: Alright. Fine. I will stay a month after then move to Earth. That sounds like a good compromise to me.
Y/N: Thank you Thor. I appreciate that and I know all the children do as well even if they aren't saying anything. I am happy for you and Jane and this big step that you are taking together. Just make sure you visit as much as you can, okay?
Thor: Of course. Thank you Y/N.
Loki: Cheers Brother.
Magni chugs his drink.
Y/N: Magni, slow down on the drinking.
Jordahl: Magni are you okay?
Magni: I'm fine.
Thena stands up.
Thena: I just wanted to congratulate my brother and Jordahl. Marriage has been an amazing experience and I wish you both all the best. I wanted to let all of you know that me and Aron decided to move out of the castle and move to the Asgardian village in a few months.
Thor: Oh, that's great sweetie.
Aron: This is our song. Shall we dance?
Thena: Would love too.
Thena and Aron get up from their seats and walk towards the open part of the room. All eyes are on them i this moment. Everyone watches them dance. Thena and Aron are having a great time together. Everyone smiles at them. It is great to have the whole family together.
Vali: I hope I can dance like that with somebody one day.
Y/N: You will.
Modi gets up and holds up his cup.
Modi: I would like to make a toast. To our amazing mother. Thank you for always being here for us and we appreciate you. You are truly the best mother anyone can have.
Magni: Cheers!
