The next day, Y/N goes to talk to her son Magni about going to the feast tonight. Y/N has always bonded with their children more than Thor. Anything regarding their children, she usually takes care of it. Thor has been there for his children as much as he could. For years, the nine realms have been in complete chaos. He hasn't been there for them as much as Y/N has in these recent years. Since the children are older now, they can pick up on this type of stuff. Thor and Y/N's children have definitely been brought up different from the way Thor was. Thor wants to try to change this but the first step is to change things with Y/N.
Y/N: Your father wants you to attend the feast tonight. Promise me you will attend. Me and your father think it's time for you to be more involved.
Magni: Do I have to?
Y/N: Yes, now get dressed.
That night at the feast, Thor watches everyone. Everyone is laughing, smiling, and having a great time. Thor is sitting surrounded by all his friends yet he feels alone. Thor wants to be surrounded by his family. He wants to have the close relationship with his family like how he was with his mother, father, and brother.
He's happy he had the conversation with Y/N last night about their relationship, But he thought it would make a difference starting with the feast tonight. Y/N is at the feast but standing by herself. Feasts happen all the time here in Asgard. Y/N only goes to them because she is the queen and she has to attend everything.
She doesn't force her children to come to anything if they don't want too. Only tonight with Magni because Thor wanted it. Magni did come to the feast but drank a little too much too fast. He ended up leaving the feast early and just sat outside by himself.
Thor: Excuse me my friends.
Eventually Thor gets up from the feast table and goes to stand by Y/N. Thor wants to keep breaking the ice with Y/N.
Thor: Y/N. Having fun over here all by yourself? Didn't want to join everyone at the dining tables?
Y/N: Thor. I'm sorry, I know I said we would try again. Feasts just aren't my favorite.
Thor: I was just joking. I get it.
Thor and Y/N have such a weird relationship. They care for each other. They would do anything for each other. But they aren't in love with each other. Thor is an amazing man. But to Y/N, he is no Loki. She knows it is unfair to Thor. She knows it's ridiculous to still think about her relationship with Loki. From the beginning, she knew she had to fake it till she makes it. She'll just have to do that all over again.
Y/N: Hope you had a good night.
Thor: Sleep well tonight my queen. I'll see you in the morning.
Thor turns around and walks away to go to his chambers. Y/N watches him walk away. Y/N hates how she can't open her heart to Thor even after being married to him for thirteen years. If Thor can't get through to Y/N this time, he feels like he'll need to bring this to his parents to see what he should do. He doesn't want to end his marriage with Y/N and he knows it will be frowned upon but he might just have too.
