Meanwhile, Frigga was checking in on Loki and heard some of Y/N and Loki's conversation. Frigga just listened. Y/N and Loki? Frigga had no idea Y/N and Loki were together thirteen years ago when she and Odin betrothed Thor to her. Loki had come to Frigga once and told her in confidence that he was seeing someone. Frigga didn't want to know much about it because then she would have to report it to Odin. Frigga was just happy that Loki was happy.
A lot is coming together now. She doesn't know what to do with this information right now. Y/N and Loki seem to really love each other but she is married to Thor. She feels so sad for Thor. But then again, Frigga has realized they haven't been happy in their relationship for some time now. Frigga has realized Y/N couldn't really love Thor completely because of Loki. Frigga She must talk to Y/N. As Frigga is listening to Loki and Y/N's conversation end, Thor walks in.
Thor: Mother, are you spying on Loki?
Frigga: I was just checking on him.
Thor: Loki is not the boy you once knew. He's changed. That's why he's in the dungeons.
Frigga: Nor are you. It's been thirteen years. You've changed as well. From what I can tell, your brother was just hurt and acted out.
Thor: You always find the good in people. How are you feeling today Mother?
Frigga: There's still some good left in Loki. And I know you believe that. I'm doing okay. Feeling a little weak.
Thor: I wish there was something we could do for you Mother. Y/N has told told me she told the children about your sickness. Apparently Thena has picked up on some signs. Y/N said it was time to tell them.
Frigga: I'm glad they were told. They deserve to know. Y/N is a great mother and queen. But I can tell there is some distance between you. My son, your father and I sprung Y/N on you and you didn't get a chance to naturally fall in love. I want you to be happy.
Thor: I have to agree with you. Y/N and I have been having relationship issues for awhile now. Ever since the children were born, there has been a barrier between us. We said we were going to try again but Mother I'm not sure what to do. I've been meaning to talk to you and father. I love Y/N but I'm not in love with her. If that makes sense. She is the best queen I could ask for, the best mother for my children.
Frigga: You need to do whats best for you. You're the King. Y/N will still be the Queen and the mother of your children. Nothing will change that.
Thor: So you wouldn't be made if I ended my marriage?
Frigga: Of course not Son. It doesn't change anything. Both you and Y/N deserve to be happy even if that is with different people. At the time, you and Y/N were a perfect match for each other. I'm sorry it didn't work out the way you wanted. You should talk to Y/N.
While Thor and Frigga are talking, Y/N went to the royal meeting. Everyone was at the meeting besides Thor and Odin so far. Thor has decided to not go to the meeting today. He wanted to spend time and talk to his mother. He made sure to summon his father to where him and Frigga were. He told his father that he won't be at the meeting and that Y/N should lead the meeting. Odin agreed and went to the royal meeting.
Odin: Sorry for being late. King Thor won't be making the meeting today.
Y/N: Okay. Let's get started then.
After the meeting, Y/N was the first person to walk out. In the meeting, they discussed many things that needs to be taken care of. It was a lot. Y/N needs to tell Thor everything that was said during the meeting. She is stressed. As she walks out, Frigga's guard comes up next to her.
Frigga's guard: Your grace. Sorry to bother you after a meeting but Frigga requests a meeting with you within the next few days. She says it's important.
Y/N: Thank you for letting me know. Tell her I will meet with her as soon as I can.
