A month later, after planning for months and having many celebrations, it is finally time for Magni to take the throne and become the new King of Asgard. The day of the coronation has arrived. Once all the Asgardians are in the hall and the Einherjars' are in place, the ceremony will begin. Thena and Aron will walk in first, second to walk in will be Modi and Vali, then Y/N and Loki, next will be Thor, then Jordahl will walk in, and then lastly Magni will walk down the hall.
Jordahl is watching the coronation from the same spot Y/N watched when Thor was becoming King. The balcony. They also decided to put Aron, Thena's husband, up there because they decided to only put blood relatives near Magni during the coronation. During the coronation, everyone has a certain place for them to stand. Thena and Modi will stand next to each other on the left side. Loki and Vali will stand on the right side. Thor will be on his throne while Y/N is right next to Magni.
Once Magni is king, his wedding with Jordahl will take place a month after the coronation. Once married to Magni, Jordahl will have her coronation to become the queen of Asgard, a few days after the wedding. In the meantime, Y/N will still be the queen until Jordahl's coronation. But once everything has taken place, Thor and Y/N will be free from the throne and their royal duties. Thor will stay a month after Jordahl's coronation to help with the transition and Y/N plans on still living in the castle helping whenever she can. Y/N wants to be close to her family. She's not going anywhere.
Everyone is in place and the coronation finally begins. Thena and Aron walk in together. Thena stands in her spot waiting for the rest of her family. Aron goes to the balcony. Then Modi and Vali walk in. Modi stands next to Thena while Vali stands on the other side waiting for his father. Y/N and Loki walk down together. Loki stands next to Vali while Y/N stands by the top of the stairs. After Y/N gets into place, Thor walks in. Jordahl 's name is announced and she walks in. She goes straight to the balcony and stands next to Aron. Finally, Magni walks down the hall. Everyone claps for him.
Magni continues to walk down the hall until he gets to the stairs. Magni walks up them. Y/N greets him at the edge of the stairs and kisses him on the forehead. She is so proud of him and how far he has come over the years. After kissing him on the forehead, Y/N grabs his hand and brings him in front of Thor who is sitting on the throne. As soon as Magni is in place, Y/N steps to the side of him.
Thor: Magni Thorson, my heir, my firstborn. I have defended Asgard and the lives of the innocent across the Nine Realms for twenty three years now. Though the day has come. It is time for you to take the thrown of Asgard and become King. Please kneel.
Magni kneels in front of his father. Everyone watches his every move. This is their new king. All eyes are on Magni i this moment. This is one of the biggest moments in his life. To become King of Asgard is a huge deal and an honor. Magni has prepared his whole life for this moment. Magni was born to be the king.
Thor: Do you swear to guard the Nine Realms?
Magni: I swear.
Thor: And do you swear to preserve the peace?
Magni: I swear.
Thor: Do you swear to cast aside all selfish ambition and to pledge yourself only to the good of the Realms?
Magni: I swear.
Thor: Then, on this day, I, Thor Odinson, proclaim you the new King of Asgard.
And just like that, Magni is now the King of Asgard.
