Ginny
"Morning, Sunshine." I grinned as he sat up on the floor from the other side of the bed. Rubbing one eye, he turned to look around, in his after spell of a blank night. His chest was bare now and he was wearing his pyjamas because I'd changed him in his sleep. He seemed uncomfortable and sweating in his dress robes so I had to help him. With wild hair, he helped himself up, grabbing the sheets in his lap and sitting on the bed. I stretched, rubbing my bare arms, feeling the tingle of my sensitive skin.
"Hmm... what... what time is it?" He licked his lips.
"Six in the morning." I rolled on my front and buried my face in the pillow. Something soft, warm and slightly weighted touched my bare arm and I turned my face out, watching him rub his face in my shoulder.
"Morning." He mumbled.
"Yeah." I smiled and sat up.
"You're mad, aren't you?" He scratched his head and licked his lips.
"I'm okay." I shrugged, sliding out in my cotton small night dress.
"Ginny, I'm sorry."
"Look, Harry..." I sighed, walking around to his side. Sitting beside him, I took his hand, "There is no age or IQ limit to wanting to have a mental breakdown every now and then. But honey, the part of being forty and being an adult is that we learn to pick our moments. We keep it together till we know it's safe to put our guard down. Getting drunk in a family party..."
"Not an adult behavior."
"Not a good adult behavior." I squeezed his hand, threading fingers through his, "Letting yourself go in front of your wife..."
"Good?"
"Very good." I smiled and he dropped his heated forehead in my cheek.
"Please tell me I didn't mess up with the kids." He murmured.
"No. Nothing harmful."
He snapped straight.
"They saw me?"
"Of course, honey. They're grown up now."
"Mhmp." He made the sound while his mouth buried with his face in a curtain of his hands.
"Aha, we all have those days."
"Nope. You've never had it and you are wilder than I've ever been."
"I did! So many, many times."
"Not since Teddy turned five." He practically whined, "Atleast not in front of the kids or people."
I snorted and he gave me a flat look.
"Well, you look adorable. I can't help it." She giggled, "I mean you're whining about being drunk, honey."
He moaned again and I kissed the back of his neck.
"I'll go clean up. Then you do that and come meet me in the kitchen." I rubbed his back.
"I'm so sorry, Gin."
"I know." I stood, lifting his face and pecking his lips, "I love you."
"Love you too!" He called from behind as I went for the bathroom.

It was the day of Mum's hearing. Dad had absolutely disallowed us from showing up at the Ministry before taking mum with her, leaving the three of us utterly disappointed. Teddy had gone along and now it was just us, sitting in the lounge, mooning over how pathetic we were that we couldn't do anything for Mum.
