Aria was a cute girl with dark short hair and long bangs in the front and her eyes were doe but always seemed so mysterious and golden. She always wore pants and though both her parents were the softest people I knew, she was a girl who was almost completely unapproachable. It wasn't that she had a rough look, infact if her face were ever to unclench, she'd be a fairy but she always seemed on edge and on top of all that, she was a beater of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She was the meanest beater of the current year and her skills were also rough.
Besides this, she studied but she wasn't the best at it, except for potions.
She especially disliked me and I never knew why, except that she hated that I was casual about everything.
"So, let me see, you hate that I'm not trying out for Quidditch this year either?" I spoke, leaning beside her in the library and she dropped her head.
"Would you leave me alone for a few days?" She complained and I chuckled.
"Nope. I'm bored. Get angry at me." I sat on the table and she glared at me.
"What about your girlfriends?" She sighed, "Why don't you ask them to fulfil your kinks?"
"You think I'm a player that much, huh?" I sighed.
"Yes."
"Are you jealous, Longbottom?" I teased and she looked up with red ears.
"James!" I swivelled and Iola was waving at me, "Let's go already." She bit her lip teasingly and I was always shocked at her changed attitude. I never really knew she liked me this much. I heard a thud behind me and Aria stood up, slamming her books close.
"There you ar-" I started but when I looked up, her hair had fallen, covering her eyes which were only visible to me. And they had tears falling from them. One touched her hand and she looked at me.
"Moved on from Hannah already." She grinned coldly.
"Ar..."
"Don't bug me again or I'll break your nose." She sniffled and marched away in the other direction. I dropped my head and sighed. Maybe I really was an awful guy who didn't deserve a girl as single hearted as her.

"Hey, he's moving." Adrian woke me from my trance. I looked back at the table and he started walking down the street with us right on his tail. We were careful and under the cloak now. His walk was about half hour till we hit the dark corners of the hill slope. It was then that he stopped.
"What if he disapperates?" I whispered.
"That could be an issue." He sighed. Just when we thought he'd disappear, he fell to the floor.
"Shh. Don't make a single sound."
"It isn't the full moon. He can't be a werwolf. Then why does he look like he's transforming like one." He wasn't turning into a werewolf however. His skin was as if shedding and showing off the peeled pink under while his face ripped into a terrifying one with a long sharp muzzle. As if all this wasn't enough, he grew larger on all fours and then, like a blast, popped out a set of wings from his spine.
"W-What is he?" I suddenly worried that he were in a secluded green area of the hill. The trees were close but still a bit of clearing existed. The beast turned and looked at us, sending chills down my spine. We were both frozen and the beast released a breath. He started growing closer and closer and I looked up at it again. I elbowed Adrian gently, making us move. I had to check something and it turned out I was right. The damn thing could smell us!
