Louis

I'd just come back from the Farhamptons on business to meet my son and my friends and had the first chance to meet along with Eddie at Ministry since he'd sent a letter of invite.

"You limey git! After years!" Was the first thing he said after punching me in the gut.

"What?" I groaned, "I have a job, you know." I stood, releasing the pain in my muscles.

"Oh, yeah. I know. Big shot Chief." He chuckled and I hugged him back. It was good to be back and to see this absurd man.

"So? What was the letter about? You only said that you needed me." I blinked as he pointed at the couch in his solo office. It was big with a large desk and chair with a corner sitting lounge for casual and comfortable meetings. He even stood two tall book shelves in one corner.

"I do need you mate. Things have been insane here." He seemed genuinely worried.

"What is it? What can I do?"

"What I'll tell you,... er, it's best not to spread it."

I nodded.

"You know how Ginny's a werewolf?"

I blinked, suddenly having a strange feeling in my chest.

"The head, Sir Henris, he wants to detain her. Basically, lock her up for every week that she transforms."

"That's bullshit." I hissed, "I've dealt with a few werewolves in my area and we've never come to conclusion of detaining them."

"Exactly but things escalated and even Hermione had to side with the Ministry."

"I'm sorry, Hermione Granger?" I was baffled.

"Yeah. She has to choose profession over personal affairs. It's always been this way." He sighed and I couldn't argue, "The thing is, now, Albus took a stand and is now in training to be a voluntary companion guard to the werewolf in the family."

"You're kidding me. Right? Harry would never let something like that go. How could..." I released a breath, "You need me to do what?"

"Look into Henris. You know the department. You're the Chief of the department. I get that you're not in London-"

"I'll do it." I intervened and he looked up with a tired gaze, "I'll find out. For now, how's Albus doing?"

"He's doing well, honestly. Henris isn't making things easy on him but he's doing good. His tasks are as complicated as a third or fourth level. He's still getting through." He seemed rather surprised and confused.

"He's determined." I tapped Ed's shoulder, "You should know a thing or two about that sort of determination."

"Hmm. Come to think of it, there's a task tomorrow. Stick around and watch?"

"Why not. I'd like to see what he's throwing our boy's way." I winked.

There was a knock on our door after a couple minutes and Eddie allowed entrance.

"Ed? I heard-" Harry's face poked through from behind the door and I stood as he grinned at me, "I heard Louis came." He chuckled and I took his hug, "It's been a while mate." He tapped me as I moved back.

"It has. You look old. Geez."

"Still the annoyance aren't ya?" Harry chuckled.

"Harry, I invited Louis for help regarding Henris." Ed came clean and Harry's smile wavered.
