Albus

"Should we tell them?" Eddie asked.

"No. He'll get the memo when he comes back. Besides, there's no point in calling them back now. They won't be able to investigate at the right place right now. It's too dark and unsafe there." She sighed, "So, just leave it. When he comes back, he'll see it for himself." She gulped, "And..." She raised a finger, "You wrote this." She pointed at Barnsite, "I don't want his smug ass to be all... possessive again. I might actually kill him."

Yikes. Dad wasn't in the good corner with Mum.

"Ehem. Anyway, I'll go look for a Healer. Eddie, you go and report this to professor McGonagall and meet us here as soon as possible. Barnsite, you come with me. I need you to talk to the head Auror." She pointed and Barnsite nodded. Eddie followed but he went for the floo connection and waved with a wink before disappearing, leaving me alone with Candice.

Silence was still between us.

"Aunt Ginny is so hot!" Candice squealed and I chuckled.

"She was always hot tempered, apparently." I added.

"Must be weird for Uncle Harry?" She asked.

"It's strange. I don't remember this office much myself." I inhaled a deep breath, "How do you feel?" I asked.

"I feel a little fatigue, but I'm not sure how to categorize it." She scrunched and I smiled.

"You'll be okay. We're going to get out of here and then figure the rest out."

"Albus..." She stood but stayed at her spot, turning red, "I'm sorry."

"Can..."

"I was just so mad that I didn't see it right. When I got the memo that you didn't want me there, I was so mad but when they asked me to help you, I thought they'd lied for you to get me to join the task." She drooped, "But turns out you really asked them to stop me."

"I just didn't know what was happening between us Can. I knew I'd be distracted so I wanted to put the space between us." I felt awful.

"It's okay. I get it." She nodded, "I was kind of a bitch." She chuckled.

"No, that's not-" I started but the door opened and Barnsite/dad walked in.

"You two okay?" He looked and we nodded.

"How'd it go with Mum?" I asked.

"She went to do something.I didn't ask since... well, I can't." He shrugged, sighing.

"We were just talking about how it must be so nostalgic for you, Uncle Harry." Candice spoke.

"Hmm, yeah. This was the first office of mine I ever brought you to, Albus. At that time, I was the sole owner of it but still, this was where you said you wanted to be an Auror someday." He chuckled, "I remember, your mother declared that you'll be a genius."

"Poor aunt Ginny." Candice teased.

"Hey!" I smiled to myself.

"You know, Ginny broke my nose here once." He sighed, sitting by the edge of his desk.

"What?" Candice laughed.

"Yeah. She punched me right in the nose." He nodded and I was hearing this for the first time.

"Why?" I asked but the door to the office opened again and I froze at the younger version of dad walking into the room, however, he was shorter, a little tinier but similarly angrier. His anger faded when he looked at all of us. And the weird continues.
