"Remind me what is happening again?" I asked that little troublemaker standing behind me as we eyed the Muggle entry post for witches and wizards into the Ministry.

"You're helping me infiltrate the Ministry." James hissed, "Now shut up."

"Why?" I groaned.

"Because I'm seventeen now and I can use magic and I need to find out what Henris is up to."

"Why? Uncle Harry is doing his job." I groaned.

"Yeah. I know but because of his dumb job he can't move forward by sneaking in, which is why, we're gonna do it."

"That's ridiculous."

"I've got a plan, don't worry."

"How come your pulling this crap?" I straightened.

"Albus has already been involved enough, so are mum and dad. Lily's a kid but I'm the eldest. I don't like secrets. I'm not stupid. They need intel that they can use as legal forms but acquiring it will be through illegal slash legal methods."

"And that is?" I slumped.

"By my help."

I stiffened at that new voice behind us.

"My darling doesn't remember me but his best man does." Vic chuckled, tapping James' back. Vic and i'd been engaged for a month now and the only person who knew was James since he was there with us. He was promising to keep our secret and it was effective so far.

"Vic, seriously? You're going to help him?" I couldn't believe it.

"Look. Henris has players in his team who're playing by their posts and some who're sneaking between the walls. I think we oughta do the same." She sighed, "And it's my In-law's we're talking about. If not me then who?"

"Why am I here?" I groaned.

"Well, as my teenage brain understands, Vic will go through the entrance like usual and Ted, you should go with her since she might need someone to keep an eye out for her." He gulped, "As for me... I'll be following him." He showed me his phone, which reflected a picture of Carnos Getis.

"Why do you need to follow him?"

"I saw him outside our house. Like ten times in the past two weeks. This guy is keeping an eye on us and I wanna know why."

"You didn't tell Uncle Harry?"

"Pfft. He's just gonna keep it quiet till he knows what to do."

"You're a kid." I frowned.

"Dad defeated Voldemort and scoured London and world when he was seventeen. Don't give me that. For now, just do as I say."

"Where are we going inside the Ministry?" Vic asked.

"Frederick's office."

"Frederick?" I sighed, "Yeah, I don't like that guy either. But what do you think I'll get from his office?"

"He was involved in mum's kidnapping and Albus' trip. He knows something and maybe you can find something in his office." He pulled out a ball cap and put it on.

"You'll get into a lot of trouble, James." I warned.

"Ha. Say something I don't know." He scoffed, "See you on the other side." He put on his medical mask and followed the recent passenger walking out of the underground subway station. Carnos.
