I gasped sitting up. My head hurt and the room was dim except a few fire lamps on the cement walls. Not only was it dark but chilly as well. I was on a chair and my back ached as I straightened. The last thing I remembered was that awful nightmare at Hogwarts. Being amidst a decades old battle.

"You're up too." James spoke and I blinked awake at him.

"When did you wake up?"

"A few minutes ago." He looked around and I followed his eyes to our friends sitting in a circle, "Hey?" I sat on my toes in front of Jason, sleeping with his head on his shoulder. My last memory from the nightmare came as I turned to James, "I had a dream." I felt throat tighten by the lack of expression on his face.

"The Battle of Hogwarts of 1997 where dad killed Voldemort?" He spoke and I jumped up to my feet. His jaw clenched and he looked beside him. Aria Longbottom was asleep there, "Did you die?"

"Yes! You?" I snapped feeling a strange relief and he looked back.

"Yeah. We woke up the moment we died in that dream." James sighed, looking at Albus.

A gasp freaked us out and Dominique followed by Rose woke up.

"Shit, seriously?" I looked at them and we proceeded to explain things to them.

"Think they're okay without us?" I asked, staring at Jason, holding my breath as tears started streaming from all the sleepers' eyes.

"They're all experiencing loss." Rose mumbled, "At a place that was never ours to be at in the first place. I hope they believe that this is all a nightmare."

I remembered the moment Jason asked me to let his arm go. The moment Aria mentioned that we could possibly be dreaming, I'd been believing that, still the thought of losing Jason was foreign to me so I completely lost myself in that moment. And then my dad came to help me of all people.

"I died the moment my dad came for me." I chuckled.

"Me too." Rose spoke.

"Er... me too..." Dominique spoke and that was curious now. I looked at James.

"I helped mum escape." He pointed.

"What the hell?" I mumbled.

"It's like a cruel joke. Like we can't protect our families or something." Rose shook her head.

"Maybe that's exactly what it is..." James nodded.

A gasp echoed and Candice looked around in fear.

"Hey, hey, hey." I came to calm her down but she eyed me in shock till her face scrunched in a tiny sob.

"You're here." She cupped my face and threw arms around me.

"Sorry." I chuckled and she giggled, moving back, "Wait, did you die in the dream as well?"

"So, it was a dream?" She blinked and I wiped her cheek.

I nodded.

"Yeah. I died..."

"Any chance you were with Uncle Ed or Aunt Jenna?"

"D-Dad." She seemed confused, questioning as to how I was aware of this. She looked around, standing and hugged Dominique and Rose. She then leapt at James who chuckled, lifting her lightly.

"Aria is a mess." She murmured and he turned red.

"What is it?" He frowned and it seemed he was reflecting Candice's expression.
