"Henris takes me for a fool." Hermione sighed, frustrated at herself, plopping on the sofa in her office.

"This... how everyone is leading their own investigations is how we're the fools and Henris is in the lead. Harry is doing his own work. Teddy, his own. Albus and James on each their own and then us. How long are we gonna hide from everyone that we know everything? That we know what a Gargolem is? Or that Jason McDill is one? Or that Henris is McDill's grandfather and is the one responsible for his condition? Or that my marrow was taken to form new creatures?" I was rambling but the fact that Harry kept hiding things was annoying me the most.

"It is pretty annoying how they all want to pick up their own investigations." She groaned and I placed a cup of coffee on the table in front of her. Raking my hair off my temple, I relaxed with my own. These days, everything had been so irritating that even my hair were a disturbance, so I cut them short enough to an asymmetrical style long pixie cut. So far, it was rather comfortable.

"So what do we have in order to convict him?" I asked.

"Honestly, after Albus' trial and your kidnapping, we found a proper legal reason to investigate. So Henris has been banned from further office duties."

"You mean, he's not at the office?"

"He's in holding. Down in the probationary rooms. Where they get held till they're proven guilty. Jail will be the next and last stop." Hermione answered, "I'm still going to say it. I'm sorry for not being there when you were taken."

"Hermione, you sent for me, I know that. I refused. We needed Henris to believe that you were in the dark so he could show what he was really up to." I assured

"Still." Hermione groaned.

"Well, I think that was a successful mission." I crossed my legs, "As for the next step, we have to detain all lab activities?"

"All done." Hermione nodded, "A few of our staff members were caught with potions and samples illegal to carry in their homes so they have been contained. We're questioning them."

"You mean your secret detail, led by Victoire?"

She nodded.

"Has she told anything to Teddy?" I asked.

"No."

"Yeah, I thought so. That one's running around. I actually fed him sleeping potion last week and he was all confused as to why he slept the day out. So I confessed and of course, he can't get mad at me." I chuckled and Hermione shook her head, seemingly judgemental, "I drugged my entire family. Scared of me yet?"

"A little." Hermione nodded.

"I wish I could disappear Hermione. Like... maybe I should've died in that chamber. I mean, that was when Harry noticed me for the first time? Or maybe I should've died the night Albus Dumbledore did. Or maybe when we were at Malfoy Manor." I groaned, "So many options, so many opportunities."

"Why do you have to spout nonsense?" She scolded and I blinked.

"I've never felt more like a criminal, even if someone else is the original."

"So what? You're planning to run off again? Just remember that it won't just be a ring you'll be leaving on Harry's table." She spat bitterly and I looked up, nodding.

"I'm not running away. I love my family." I reasoned, "But they are also the reason, I'm ready to go to Azkaban."

"You think Henris will rest after doing so? He wants..." Realization dawned on her as our eyes met with my mischief genuine in view, "Merlin, you were talking about murdering the man." She sighed, sulking in her seat.
