“You idiot.” Skip told Luke firmly, as soon as Sally slammed the door. “She's the best thing that ever happened to you!”

“I have to go and find her.” Paige announced. “Does anybody have her address?” Luke nodded and ran into his room, finding the piece of paper with her address and phone number Sally had given to him when they had first met. Paige ran around the house, looking for shoes to wear. She pulled them over her feet, and began running.

“Paige!” Jai shouted, running out of the house. “Let me drive you, I don't want you going alone.” She nodded and they got into his metallic black car, as he sped down the streets. He knew the area well, so he could easily speed through the streets without crashing into anything or knocking anything over. “Do you want to tell me what happened with you and Beau?” He asked.

“We're just, having trouble. I told him about the guy, the guy I told you about.”

“And he's annoyed at you?” Paige nodded. “What a deadset...” He finished with a disgusting word. “I swear, he should be supporting you. What an idiot.”

“It's just overwhelming for him. I mean, the guy did that to his leg.”

“Did he?” Jai's mouth opened in an 'o' shape. Paige nodded, her expression turning into a frown. “If he's getting violent again, Beau should be with you every step of the way, not turning against you. Even if he's putting himself in danger.” Jai told her. “I know I would.” He looked at her awkwardly for a second before they stopped outside Sally's address. “I'll wait here.” He told her. She agreed and got out of the car, making her way over to the 3 story house that replicated the white house. The knocker for the door was large and brass, twisted around itself over and over. She dropped it onto the door once, and straight away the sound of a baby crying could be heard. She was confused, Sally had always said she was an only child.

“Hello.” A woman of Chinese orient greeted, holding a toddler on her hip and having another one hugging her leg.

“Erm, hi.” Paige replied. “I'm looking for Sally?”

“Sally?” The woman asked, her English not the best. “Me don't know no Sally.”

“1 second.” Paige told her, scrolling through her phone. She found a picture Skip had taken of her and Sally and showed it to the woman.

“Oh, that girl. Me know that girl.” The lady told her. “Round corner, turn right then left then 3 house.” She nodded a third baby began to cry and shut the door in Paige's face. Baffled, she got back into the car.

“Go right then left, 3rd house.” She told him. Uncertainly, he started the car and took off. The houses slowly declined in value until they drastically changed from a beautiful looking street to a DIY project. They counted the houses across, the third one being a small, lopsided white bungalow with broken windows and a half-beaten door. A 'For Sale' sign whimpered in the front yard although Paige didn't suspect there were many eager buyers.

Jai went to unbuckle his seatbelt but Paige shook her head to him, she knew if it was Sally, there was a reason she had lied about where she lived.

She knocked on the door lightly, sawdust falling onto her hand.

“Sally?” She asked quietly. A scuttling of feet could be heard darting across the room. “Sally?” She asked again, louder this time. “Is that you?” A small gasp and whimper was made from inside the house, so Paige opened the door, walking cautiously inside.
