*Back to third person :D *

Paige threw her keys into the dish in the hallway, kicking her shoes off. It had been a night, she expected Danny was already waiting for her.

“Humans?” She called. She laughed, it was something Jai would do.

“Paige!” Cameron ran through the hallway, picking her up and spinning her around. With her busy with the Janoskians boys and him busy with work, they never got time to see each other. His eyes were red and tear stained, as if he had been crying. Why was everyone being so suspicious all of a sudden?

“Where's dad?” She asked.

“Out. Drinking.” Paige's eyes grew wide, he never drunk. He was too professional, he cared too much about himself.

“What!? Why? Why didn't you try to stop him!?”

“Him and mum had a fight. I think they're getting a divorce.”

200 million emotions rushed over her like a tidal wave; anxiety, hurt, betrayal, relief. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. She knew this was supposed to be a big thing, that most people were supposed to be affected by this, and that it was supposed to change their lives in some way. She knew Emma had hated her parents after they had divorced, and that she felt like they hated her, that they didn't love her. But to Paige, her parents were finally free. She wasn't really sure why they had married in the first place, they weren't a match made in heaven. Angela was a party animal who had one night flings with everyone, and whose idea of travelling was catching exotic diseases. Brian was a quiet, stay at home dad who cared for only his family, close friends and his business. He was extremely family orientated and loved animals, but had never really got to express his love seeing as Angela believed animals just got in the way. He was trustworthy, and Angela abused that power and slept with countless men. She guessed they had tried to make their marriage for the sake of the press, for the sake of their children, and the happiness could manufacture. In a way, Paige could already be optimistic enough to say that it was going to be a good thing.

“Do you want to go to your bedroom?” Cameron asked. Paige nodded and walked up the stairs, Cameron following her. “Are you upset?” Cameron asked.

“No.” Paige replied, staring at the window as she sat cross-legged on her bed.

“I am.” He confessed. “And I don't get upset about anything really.”

“Why?”

“Because I know dad's going to be upset when I move in with mum.”

“What!? She treats you like you don't exist, she treats us both like that, why would you want to stay with her?”

“I don't agree with dad on too many things.” Cameron told her. He lay down and she lay down next to him, cuddling up to him. Not in a disgusting, in bred way, but in a protective way.

“I heard what happened today.” Cameron mumbled out. “With Danny. I know you're dating that Beau fellow.”

“What do you think?”

“I think that if he breaks your heart I will smash him so forcefully through a wall he will turn into human jelly before he can explain himself.”

“Human jelly.” Paige laughed. “But he won't hurt me.” She told him.

“Not if I have anything to do with it.” Cameron snarled. He sounded aggressive, protective, forceful, but she didn't dare question it. She just wanted the day to be over.
