A/N: Ive just kind of realised that at the start of the book Paige's mum was called Angela but I've started calling her Andrea for some reason? I'm going to fix up the re-written chapters so we call her her actual name :) And please share this around, I really want to get to 500 votes before this story ends :)
“What!?” Luke gasped, his jaw dropping to his shoulders. He looked over to Sally, who was doing the same.
“I'm going to be a dad?” He muttered. The doctor nodded.
“I understand this is a giant thing for you both. I understand it must be hard for you to come to terms with, at such a young age. But this doctors surgery with provide you with as much support as you require. Within reason, of course.
“I'm going to be a dad.” Luke repeated, smiling. He looked over to Sally, who was beaming wide.
“I'm so happy for us!” Luke said joyfully. Sally laughed as he picked her up like a bride.
“My beautiful bride is going to have a beautiful baby.” Luke chanted. “Thank you doctor.” He thanked. The doctor laughed.
“Any time.” He replied. He walked out of the doctors surgery behind them. “Miss Oldham?” He called the next lady into the surgery.
Luke and Sally received several odd looks as he carried her out of the surgery. But he didn't care. He couldn't believe he was only 17, and his life was going perfectly.
“This is the greatest 18th birthday present I could have asked for.” He told her. “I don't know how we're going to tell everyone.” He confessed.
“At dinner tonight. Just tell them I have a stomach bug until then.” Sally said. “I don't want them to all hate me for this.”
“How did this even happen?” Luke asked. “I thought you were, you know, protected?”
“So did I.” Sally laughed. “Maybe it's meant to be?” She asked. He nodded.
“Definitely.” He said, kissing her.
“So she's fine?”Beau asked, as they got into the car, judging by their giant smiles.
“Erm, stomach bug.” Luke muttered awkwardly. Confused, Beau nodded.
“I've never seen anyone so happy about having a stomach bug.” He laughed.
“Me either!” Luke smiled. Everyone looked at each other awkwardly, not understanding what he meant.
“Alright then, lets get going.” Beau replied, speeding off.
They sat around the table, eating their food but not saying a word.
“We have something to tell you all.” Luke said, squeezing Sally's hand under the table. Everyone looked around, confused. Gina, Paige, Beau, James, Dana, Jai and Ariana were all sat around the table as well. Gina eyed them suspiciously, not one to enjoy surprises.
“Don't look so upset, mum.” Luke exclaimed.
“Or should we say, Grandma?” Sally winked. Gina dropped her fork onto the plate. Everyone's jaws dropped just as low. There was a cold, lull silence that fogged over the room. Sally and Luke exchanged glances, but nobody else could say a word. Paige could feel Beau's hand tightening on her own. She knew how overprotective he was of his little brother.
“Congratulations.” Jai managed to cough out. Luke smiled gratefully.
“Thank you.” He replied. He wrapped his arm further around Sally's waist, pulling her closer.
