Paige wasn't sure how long it took for her to slip into a nightmare, all she knew was that she woke up cold, shivering, and sweating, and crying. She also knew, that the first beads of light were shining through the window, and that Beau was holding her tighter then she had ever been held before. She expected it must have been early, since the house was still and quiet, but she felt like she had slept for hours.

“Paige.” Beau whispered, rubbing her back gently with one hand and cuddling her with the other.

“I'm sorry I woke you up.” She said through tears.

“Paige, it's OK.” Beau told her soothingly. “What happened.?”

“Just... Oh it was nothing, go back to sleep.” She told him, trying to brush the terrible nightmare out of her mind.

“I won't ask.” Beau replied lovingly. “But I'm not sleeping until you do.” He replied, cocking his head to the side with a smile on his face.

“Alright, let's play a game.” She said, settling down into the gap between his legs which she had woken up in. He sat against the headboard of his bed, massaging her shoulders gently.

“Confessions?” Beau asked, a daring, yet dazzling smile spreading over his face.

“Alright.” Paige replied. “But you go first.”

“Ok... Alright...” Beau said thoughtfully, rubbing his hands together and shuffling forwards a little which pushed them so tightly pressed against each other. “I never knew my dad, I've hated him all my life for leaving my mum alone, and I know the other boys feel the same. But, if he wanted to meet us, I would go... I would be the only one to go...”

“Whys that?” Paige asked.

“Because he's family. And family is everything.” Paige smiled, she wished she had a family like that. “Your turn.” He told her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Paige looked around, searching the room for inspiration. Her eyes fell onto the mirror, cracked and broken, and she figured out her confession.

“My mum, made me get plastic surgery on my 13th birthday. Don't ask how they let me get it, but they did. She said the world wasn't happy with what I looked like. Ever since then, I've been insecure.” She wrapped her hand around his and placed them on the side of her nose gently, so he could feel the minuscule scars, which were never usually visible through her foundation.

“But you're beautiful?” Beau asked, holding her tightly again. Her heart pounded in her chest. “What did you have done?”

“Nose, eye lift and lypo on my legs and stomach.” She confessed.

“You didn't need it, you never did. He admired her perfect body and, which awe, wondered what her mother could ever hate about the beautiful teenager in front of him. Her eyelids fluttered closed, and although he could tell she was battling to open them she could not help it. Like a barrier they shut her from the outside world. She nodded her head as she slipped into a beautiful, peaceful sleep, where she dreamed of her ex-lover. Not terrifying, grieving thoughts, but beautiful memories that guided her through the night.

“67!...68!....69!...70!” Paige rubbed her eyes and pushed her head from underneath the thick duvet. Beau was, shirtless, doing chin-ups on the bar attached to his bedroom door. His abs flexed with every chin-up he completed, and Paige was in awe.

“76!...77!...Good Morning... 79!...” She hopped out of bed, freezing immediately from the cold winter weather. Beau lifted his foot over to a pile of his jackets and hoodies before carrying on completing his workout. She picked the grass green one from the top of the pile and pulled it over her head. Wiping her face of make-up she applied her mask for the day, and when she was finished she realised Beau was no longer working out. She changed into a pair of denim shorts and military boots, but kept her band shirt on with Beau's hoodie over the top. From memory, she tracked down the kitchen, where all 5 of the boys (Skip and James were pretty much members of the family, she realised) and Gina were sat around the table. She squinted at the clock above the dining table to discover it was already 11.30am.
