“Outside, me and you, now.” Luke threatened, already walking outside. Danny jumped out of his chair before Paige could stop him, his nose bleeding still. The group followed them out, as well as some other guests of the diner and concerned (or action-hungry) workers swarmed outside.

“Boys, stop!” Paige bellowed, throwing herself between them. Beau protectively shoved Danny backwards, protecting Paige and Luke from him. Jai pulled back Luke and Daniel lightly pulled Paige away from the fight.

“Danny, I think you need to go home!” Paige suggested, motioning the taxi station just up the road. He shrugged, and she nodded to him, giving him an eye to attempt to swear him to secrecy. He nodded, walking backwards.

“See you Monday, Paige. And you,” He pointed straight at Luke. “I'll see you closer then you think. Bye Sally!” He flirted.

“Yeah, F^&k off mate, alright?” Luke half asked, half threatened. Danny walked away and the sea of people flooded back into the diner.

“Everybody OK?” Paige asked, like a mother figure. Beau wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and she wrapped hers around his waist. They laughed as they saw Sally and Luke fighting about him punching Danny for her, but so in love that they were kissing again before the fight got serious. Either that or drunk, which Paige had to admit, she was feeling a little herself. The rest of the boys nodded, laughing a little at her motherly instincts. She had adopted them from when her mother had abandoned her, she had vowed to herself to take such good care of people because she knew what it felt like to be treated like dirt, abandoned and unloved.

They stumbled over to the taxi bay and arrived just as Danny was taking off. He smugly waved to the boys who all flipped him the bird and cursed at him. Laughing, they piled into 2 taxis; Skip, Jai, Beau and Paige in one and Sally, Luke and James in the other. The taxis sped through the early morning traffic (what there was of it) before reaching home. It was like home to Paige, it was the most comforting place she had stayed in.

Gina was working late, which meant they had the house to themselves, and naturally Daniel and James had invited themselves to stay the night. They were going to sleep on the couch, and Jai was going to bring his matress into the lounge room, so Luke and Sally could be alone in the twin's bedroom and Paige and Beau were alone in Beau's. But for now, they sat and mocked episodes of Jersey Shore, drinking hot chocolate and using each other's bodies to keep themselves warm.

“Right guys, I think me and Sally and going to have an early night, no point wasting a free room.” Luke said, winking. Everybody laughed and complimented them.

“Oh wait!” Sally said. “Sorry Paige, I understand if your pyjamas are like super expensive, but can I please borrow a pair?”

“Yeah sure, come on.” Paige said, standing up and walking into Beau's room. Sally knew Paige too well, when Paige didn't have much time to pack she would just grab heaps of each item and hope something matched. Most of the time, however, it actually seemed to work.

They sat down on Beau's bed, rummaging through Paige's bag to find shorts. Paige found 5 pairs, all beautifully silk and expensive, with fabric flown from all over the world. Even her bedclothes were ridiculously expensive.

“Wow, I can't wear a pair of your shorts.”

“Which ones are your favourite?” Paige said, laughing. Sally pointed to a sparkly red pair, laughing sheepishly. “Cool, they're yours.” Paige said, throwing them over to Sally. She caught them absent mindedly, staring wide eyed.
