Paige exclaimed, her jaw dropping. It took her a few seconds to really understand the situation. But all she could think in her mind was his name. Beau, Beau, Beau. “Wh...What are you doing here?” She finally managed to stammer.

“I've been a wreck without you.” Beau confessed. There was at least 50 metres between them. Slowly, Beau moved his body a few steps closer.

She finally saw the full picture, instead of her eyes just focusing on Beau. She saw Jai and Ariana, and Luke and Sally standing behind them. James stood next to the two couples, with a girl whose hand he had entwined within his own. She was so happy to meet Ariana (finally!) for the first time. She thought she was just beautiful, her light brown hair and innocent features. She wore a light white dress and black stilettos, and was hanging onto Jai's arm. She remembered Ariana's face from the few times she had spoken to her on Skype, but she was so much prettier then she remembered. They all seemed on guard (except for James and who Paige expected was his girlfriend who were enjoying their newly formed relationship) and were soaking from the rain.

“I miss you so much.” Paige told him, stepping closer. Her umbrella was still shielding her face, but she could see they were soaking wet in the storm. Her tears were real, but she couldn't tell if Beau was crying or if it was just the rain. She patted her face dry, trying to stop her make up from running. They were still shouting to be heard from such a long distance over the thundering rain.

“I missed you too beautiful.” They were walked slowly towards each other.

“Why did you come?” Paige asked, suddenly stopped. “Why now?”

“Paige, I've been an idiot. Everybody makes mistakes. Mine was the biggest of them all. Paige, please. I know I was late and I know that I never should have let you go.” She was sure he was really crying now, she could hear it in his voice. “But please, please, come back to me?”

Paige was shocked out of her mind. She had never expected this day to come. She never thought it would happen, that one day he would want her like she wanted him.

“You...You waited in the rain for me?” Paige asked.

“Yeah, I'd wait in the middle of the Sahara without a single drop of water to be with you.”

Paige ran over to him for the last few metres, and jumped onto him. He spun her around, like actors did in the really romantic movies. She leant over him, kissing him passionately in the rain. He kissed her back, breathing 'I love you' over and over again. After a minute or so, James coughed and they broke apart.

“Erm, sorry guys, but I'm getting really wet, can we go somewhere else.” They death stared him. “Please?” He added.

“Erm, we can go into the dressing room until the rain calms down, if you want?” Paige asked. They all nodded excitedly, so she dismounted from Beau's hips and searched through her bag for her key to the hall. Jai was getting slightly skeptical about the whole plan but his 'arm candy' was begging him to get him out of the rain so reluctantly he agreed. She was just unlocking the door, her eyes clouded by the rain when she noticed Skip making his way down the street.

Hurry up, please, hurry up. Don't let him see you Paige, don't let him see you.

“Oi, Paige!”

If you act like you didn't hear it, maybe everyone else will pretend as well.

“I think somebody just called your name.” Beau asked her, wrapping his arms around her waist and breathing down her neck, nibbling on her ear.
