Big Jet Plane, by Angus and Julia Stone played on repeat for the hundreth time that morning. Beau sat against the bed, leaning over Paige who sat in between his legs as they carried on working on the puzzle. Paige wore one of Beau's basketball jerseys, her back pressed against Beau's muscles. The memories of the previous nights flashed back again in her mind, and she smiled at the memory.
“What are you smiling about?” Beau asked in a sweet, seductive tone, nibbling on Paige's earlobes.
“Nothing.” Paige replied, trying to bite back a smile.
“I loved it too.” Beau told her, kissing her neck with every word. Paige leant her head back in pleasure, and he continued, wrapping his arms around her body and moving them upwards. Paige began working her hands up his thighs.
“Beau, are you decent?” Gina asked, knocking on the door. Beau immediately stopped kissing her, and they let go of each other's bodies, laughing.
“Yep!” Beau chimed. Gina smiled at them, to close together. She shot Beau a knowing look and he smiled back. She winked, and dropped washing on his bed.
“Oh, you didn't have to wash my clothes!” Paige exclaimed.
“Well, it seems your dress got a little dirty last night, so I did the best I could.” Gina winked and they all laughed.
“Gonna take you for a ride on a big jet plane.” Beau murmured into Paige's ear. She giggled and turned around, resting her nose on his cheek.
“What's this?” Gina asked, pointing to the board on the floor. Beau's heart jumped.
“I'm so so so so so so so so sorry.” Beau apologised into Paige's ear. She shook her head.
“She needs to know.” Paige whispered back. “Gina, you might want to sit down.” Gina looked confused, and sat crossed-legged on the floor in front of the couple. Paige slipped her fingers through Beau's, who lifted them to give Paige a tight hug. “Well, for the past few weeks, I've been getting some texts. Some scary, threatening ones...” Paige continued to tell her of the threats of Beau's accident, of the even worse ones involving Sam's death.” Through the entire confession, that lasted about 20 minutes, Gina remained silent, nodding and shaking her head in some parts but staying completely quiet. Not once did she shout out in anger or look at Paige in remorse. When she finished, Gina remained silent for another moment or so, trying to collect all of the information. When she finally opened her mouth, tears were gathering in Beau's eyes, and tears were already falling down Paige's cheeks.
“Let's get this b**ch.” Gina finally spoke, in a threatening tone. “Nobody messes with my family.”
Paige and Beau laughed, in relief and surprise.
“Wh...what?” Paige asked.
“Now I see what you and Beau were arguing about.” Gina said. “Beau, you idiot. She needs you now more then ever!”
“I know.” Beau replied lovingly, bowing his head down.
“Do the others know?” Gina asked. Beau shook his head, but Paige corrected him.
“Jai does.” Paige confessed.
“He knew before me!?” Beau exclaimed, looking into her eyes with annoyance.
