“What is he doing here?” Paige asked with a dissaproving tone. In one mind, she was so relieved he was there, and then in the next she was so disgusted that he would show his face.

“You told me to sort it out?” Beau was slightly hurt, his face crumpled up slightly.

“Hello, Paige.” Skip told her, standing awkwardly, swaying back and forth like a child.

“Daniel.” Paige muttered.

“We sorted it out.” Beau smiled wide “funnily enough. I think we're ready to move past everything, so I figured I could bring him here to talk to you and then we could hang out as the Janoskians again.”

Of course, Paige felt like an idiot, an over possessive girlfriend. She had no right to say she didn't want Skip in her boyfriend's life. It was his best friend! What they had done in the past, was in the past. There was no changing it and she needed to move on. She just needed to push her feelings down far enough so that they wouldn't show.

“Thank you, baby.” Paige muttered.

“Is there something wrong?” Beau asked, rushing over in concern straight away. He picked her up and spun her around. “I feel like I haven't seen you in forever! I just wanted to make sure I made you happy when you came back so I thought we could get the past over and done with!”

In her mind she thought of all of the things that were wrong. My parents are getting a divorce. My brother and my father are acting suspicious for no reason. I found out Hannah has a secret boyfriend that's causing her family troubles. Oh and yeah, I forgot. DANNY IS THE KILLER, for God's sake!

“No.” She lied, smiling and shaking her head. “Nothing that can't wait until later.” He smiled, satisfied.

“Good.” He told her. “Now you and Skip can use my room if you want.” He blushed, looking down “not for that. But if you want to you know, talk out your differences.”

“I want you and only you.” Paige told him, looking him in the eyes. “So sure, let's go Daniel.”

“You can call me Skip again, yanno, if you want?” Skip suggested.

“That's right. I could if I wanted. But I don't want to, Daniel.” Jai snickered and Skip shot him an evil look.

“Right, go.” Paige said as the door closed to Beau's bedroom behind them, her temper rising. She wasn't usually rude like this, but he just frustrated her.

“I'm sorry, Paige. I'm sorry if I took advantage of you. I used you because I wanted your body, not your personality. I'm sorry I ruined your relationship for 2 months, I'm sorry you were upset. I'm sorry I wasn't there when you were heartbroken.”

“I'm sorry too. For everything. I'm just as bad as you were.” Paige told him.

“Do you want to go through it all?” Skip asked. He was like a lost puppy dog in a petshop. He didn't seem to know what to do, or where to go.

“No thank you. Can we move on?” She was warming up to him, she could already tell they were going to be good friends.

“Friends?” Skip asked.

“Yes Daniel, friends. Nothing more.”

“I understand!” He exclaimed. She laughed. “Do I get a hug? A normal one, not a loved up one?” Paige nodded and walked into his embrace. She didn't know if she was just imagining something or had her mind on Beau but she could swear that as soon as he touched her to hug her she felt a tiny spark in their bodies. Not as big as Beau's, of course, but it scared her even so. It was the spark that had attracted her to him in the first place. And she wasn't prepared to cheat on Beau again, to go through all of the pain and the hurt again. But she couldn't help it. She took a sharp breath and pulled away form him sharply.
