Her eyes opened some hours later, the smile from the night before still plastered on her face. She looked down to her phone which was still resting on her chest. It had locked overnight, and the lock screen was flooded with surely thousands more favourites, comments, mentions, follows, everything that could pretty much be done on twitter was done to her.

She was pretty sure she had gained 100,000 followers overnight. Her twitter was going crazy, everybody was expecting the best from the photo of her and Beau embracing, about to kiss, which you couldn't really blame them for. Everyone was asking relationship questions, how long they had been going out for, relationship couples names, etc. She clicked onto the photo for one last time, smiling at the memory. They looked completely in love, Beau looked so hot as he smiled, looking into her eyes and getting ready to kiss Paige. His arms were wrapped around her waist, and she bit her lip at she looked equally in love into his eyes. Her arms were wrapped around his neck, although when the photo was taken one was flatly resting on his chest. She reached for her dress which was still packed with all of her other stuff in her gold bag, but the first thing she pulled out was Beau's hoodie. She smiled and hugged it close to her chest, it still smelt like everything she was used to, it smelt like home. She slipped the hoodie over her head and walked downstairs, to hear the friendly sound of her father's voice as he walked through the door.

“Ho, ho, hello!” Her father chuckled, hugging her tightly. Laughing, Paige hugged him back, enjoying the moment. She was so happy to be in his arms again. She had a strong bond with her father, stronger then she believed would ever be with her mother. She watched as Brian looked at Angela, who backed away from his open arms, ready to embrace his wife. She nodded and he shook his head, walking up to his room. Cameron was out, busy Paige expected as usual, and she was the only one who realised that her parents had turned from eternal lovers to distant strangers.

Wednesday arrived with nothing of interest to report, her family life had been the same old, wrapping herself up in her bedroom between gruelling hours of studying and ballet training, trying to avoid the threat of her love life. Cameron had gone away on business that same Monday, but promised to return as quickly as possible. So now Paige sat on a circle on the floor with probably the best friends she had, as they discussed everything that had happened between the days they hadn't seen each other as their morning ballet lesson came to a close.

“I met a guy on the weekend.” Emma said devilishly, smiling widely. She had pearly skin and beautiful silky straight black hair that touches the tips of her elbows. Her eyes were so dark brown they were almost black, and she was far superior to most supermodels by looks.

“Leonardo DiCaprio? Zac Efron?” Zoe joked, knowing the guys that would happily throw themselves at Emma. Zoe had copper skin, light bronze hair and a sharp, thin face. Her emerald eyes stood out and were accentuated by her talented make up skills.

“No, he was normal. He wasn't rich, he wasn't poor, he wasn't exceptionally hot, he was just, normal.”

“Oooh!” All of the girls teased. This crush was unlike Emma. She usually went for the most impressive guy she could find.

“I don't see it.” Hannah said, sipping her diet coke. Hannah was the most attractive of the four friends, except for Paige. Her face was soft and delicate, with exceptionally white teeth and large lips. Her hair was long, blonde and real, and fell all the way past her hips. “If he's not got money, what's he got?”

“A heart?” Emma snapped defensively. Everybody tried to divert the topic, as they knew how possessive Emma could get over her love interests.

“What about you?” Hannah asked, and Paige immediately felt her heart beat faster and faster. “And this Beau guy. I looked him up, and on this thing called YouTube, he's kind of popular. And he's really funny.” Hannah laughed. Paige rolled her eyes, she expected Hannah to be like this, overprotective. Hannah was Paige's closest girl friend.
