(WARNING: DEATH BUT A VALID DEATH OKAY? HE IS BAD GUY)

Every betrayal, every time she was let down all came crashing into her mind, but nothing could compare to the way she was feeling in this current moment.

She was disappointed in herself for not realizing something that was obvious now that she thought back to it. But most importantly she was upset that they'd do such a think to force her to move in with them and put her life and others on the line just to do so.

Whilst being trapped in her thoughts, Blythe hadn't realized as she was far too gone to notice that Riley had snuck into the house and attacked Dane, and while he appeared to be a scared, fragile man, his track record said otherwise. The older man was able to quickly switch things around after being attacked by Riley and instead got Riley off of him with a punch to his nose causing him to back up. "Bastard." He groaned as blood dribbled out from his nostrils.

"You little shits need to mind your own business." Dane growled as he charged at Riley and tackled him to the floor with a loud thud. Riley got in a punch of his own but his skull couldn't match the strength that Dane had despite his old age.

The man managed to pin Riley down with a knife to his throat, threatening him if he moved. "Little shits like you need to be taken care of." Riley spat. With that being said, Dane lifted the knife up before thrusting it as hard as he could down towards Riley who managed to catch his arm and hold him still. "Blythe!" He called out as he used all his strength to stop the knife from impaling him.

Blythe, who was still wrapping her head around everything that had just happened, snapped out of it and quickly reached for her own knife before running over to the two, without any hesitation she plunged the knife through the side of his neck causing Dane to let go of his own knife to reach up to where he had been stabbed.

She pulled the knife out and stabbed him again, and again, and again, until all her anger had resided as she was a bloody mess on the floor beside the dead body. Blythe's hand shook as she dropped the knife and tears escaped from her eyes. She sobbed once her adrenaline had run out.

"I know it's distressing Blythe, but you did a good thing. Okay? Killing him-"

"They lied to me!" She cried, her sobs getting louder as she covered her face with her bloody hands. "They betrayed me." She mumbled aloud. "How could they?"

"Who?" Riley asked as he sat down next to the sobbing girl and rubbed her back up and down to comfort her.

"Who do you think? They planned the attack. They said they don't want me hurt but they tried to." She exclaimed. "They did."

Riley wasn't sure what to do in this kind of situation, especially not for Blythe, he wasn't used to anything like this happening, but she knew that she needed comfort so he tried his best to do so in the only way he knew how.

"I'm sorry. They're assholes. Well, hot assholes. But still assholes." He said but he didn't get a reaction out of the crying girl, as a matter of fact she only sobbed harder. He pulled her in for a hug and allowed for her to lean against him and cry into his shirt while he attempted to comfort her and calm her down. "I can beat them up if you'd like."

"I don't think you could." She whispered between hiccups.

Riley smiled faintly. "Come on, we can't sit here all day." Riley stood up and reached his hand out for Blythe to grab.

"You're right. I'm not even that upset." Blythe put on a fake smile and wiped away her stray tears with the hem of her t-shirt, the part that wasn't covered in blood at least. "Oh." She whispered as she saw the blood that was staining her hand.
