Chapter 9

Sasuke's POV

The car ride was unusually quiet. Normally Naruto would make conversation and tell me about his day. I turned the steering wheel and looked at him for a moment. He was oddly silent. He looking out the window playing with his fingers.

I just shrugged and continued to drive towards my family's mansion. The whole car ride I kept thinking about Sakura and I couldn't help but smile. Today we didn't talk about anything except for us and our future together. That business trip is tomorrow and after I signed the contract and made the deal with these people, I would have all the time with Sakura.

The business trip will take maybe two weeks and I can't wait to get away from everything and everyone especially the person who's sitting next to me. After about 45 minutes we finally made it to my family's mansion. We got out the car, and Naruto took the pie from the backseat.

We walked out the car and towards the mansion. I rang the doorbell and after a few minutes my mother opened the door with a big smile on her face.

"Ah, you guys finally made it," she said happily pulling Naruto and I into a hug," Naruto, did you bring your special pie?," She asked excitedly.

"Yes aunty, I made this one very special," He said with a smile of his own and I rolled my eyes walking away from them and inside the mansion. I walked towards the living room to find my father, Itachi, Naruto's mother Kushina, his father Minato, his brother Kyuubi and my cousin Shisui.

"Sasuke!, It's been a long time little cousin. How are you?, Did you and Naruto finally tie the knot?," Shisui asked with a grin. I rolled my eyes.

"Hello to you too Shisui and no Naruto and I did not tie the knot, we are just not ready for marriage right now. Anyway how are you?, is the hospital running smoothly?," I asked as we walked towards the couch and set down.

"Yeah, everything is going great. I didn't know that running a hospital could be hard work," Shisui said with a sigh and I nodded.

"I'm sure," I said.

"Hey, how are things with you and Naruto. I was so sure you would be married to him by now, considering how in love with him you are," Shisui said and I ran my hands through my hair.

"We are still figuring things out Shisui, we don't want to rush into things you know," I said and he shook his head.

"What's there to figure out, you and Naruto have been dating for three years now and you two look so happy together. Naruto is an amazing person, what are you waiting for?," Shisui asked with a smile.

"I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision here, that's all," I said with a shrug.

"Well don't wait for too long, someone might come and steal him away from you. I mean, look at Naruto," Shisui said and we looked at Naruto playing with Sora as Sora squealed with happiness. I smiled slightly," You see, you love him. So why wait," he said getting up and walking towards the the kitchen.

"Sasuke," I looked up to my father standing before me with his usual stoic face.

"Father," I said with a nod. My father set next to me and looked at me seriously. I could feel myself getting nervous a bit.

"Sasuke I want grandchildren," my father said bluntly and I blushed my eyes widening.

"Father, you can't just come and say that to a person with a straight face," I said flustered.

"It's the truth, your mother and I are not getting any younger here. We want grandchildren, I heard that Naruto is very healthy and fertile, so why can't we have grandchildren?. Or maybe you have a problem?," He asked and I pinched my the bridge of my nose.

"Father, if you think I have fertility issues, can you please think again," I said annoyed.

"Then what is the problem, son?," Minato asked this time," Are you and my son having problems. I know that Naruto can be quite a handful at times, I can talk to him," he said with a raised eyebrow.

"No no, Naruto and I are just not ready to have a family yet. We are not even married, heck he's not even my fiance," I said and they frowned.

"Well if you guys are having problems, don't hesitate to contact us. We will help you," my father said and Minato nodded besides him.

"Okay okay, I got it," I said, they both nodded getting up and went towards the kitchen. I sighed running my hands through my hair. How could I possibly explain to them that I don't want to be with Naruto anymore, I finally got the love of my life back after so many years.

And my mother, I don't know how she would react after I tell her that I'm in love with my ex Sakura and I want to be with Sakura again. Isn't happiness all that matters.

"Hey," I looked up to find Naruto. 'Great,' I thought internally rolling my eyes as I watched him seat next to me.

"Hey," I said slowly looking at the TV.

"Are you okay?, you seem stressed about something," he said putting his small hand over mine. I quickly took my hand away, putting it behind my head.

"I'm fine," I said not in the mood to talk to him. He smiled taking his hand back.

"Can I get you something. Mom and aunty Mikoto are setting up the table," he said and I could feel my blood boiling as he keeps on asking me questions.

"Didn't you hear what I just said to you, I. Am. Fine," I said through clenched teeth getting up and walking away.
