Chapter 59

Naruto's POV

I was sitting at a restaurant waiting for Sasuke. He was running a little late but I know he will make it. He called and said he is driving from Sakura's house. I sighed looking at my fingers. I hope everything goes well.

"Hey," I looked up to find him sitting before me and I smiled looking at him.

"Hey, how are you?," I asked and he smiled.

"I'm great, I got something for you," he said taking out a small box.

"Oh, what's that?," I asked leaning in.

"Your anniversary gift to me, the two heart pieces that go together. I figured we could wear them together," he said as I opened the box. I giggled shaking my head.

"Then it's our gift Sasuke and how did you find it?," I asked as I took the white heart piece looking at it carefully.

"I was feeling down and depressed and I needed something that reminded me of you, so I stumbled upon your gift, I've read the note too. Many times," he said as he took the black heart piece.

"Oh, I had something really special planned that day, but it's okay now. I'm glad you found it, I have completely forgotten about it," I said and he took my hand into his.

"Let's just set a new date for our anniversary, a new day we will remember having happy memories together," he said and I smiled.

"We'll see, but I have a question," I said looking at him.

"Yeah?," He asked and I looked down at the heart piece.

"Are you courting me?," I asked and I giggled seeing him getting a little flustered by what I asked.

"You noticed?," he said asked softly.

"Of course I did, I mean the gifts, the compliments and you doing things for me. It was pretty obvious Sasuke, but thank you for this. I can see that you are trying," I said and his face brightened a bit.

"Thanks, it's a relieve honestly," he said and I giggled.

"Can I come over your place tonight?," I asked and he nodded.

"Of course, you're always welcomed. But I don't understand when you're saying your place when it's clearly our place," he said and I smiled softly.

"I know that Sasuke, but for now, it can be your place," I said and he nodded in understanding.

Time skip~

I drove past the gates of Sasuke's mansion and parked my car around the fountain. I walked towards the door and rang the doorbell. A second later, he answered I smiled.

"Hey!, How are you, can I come in?," I asked and he nodded moving aside.

"Sure, I made us something to eat," he said as he closed the door. I walked towards the kitchen.

"Then I must be on time then," I said with a smile sitting on the dining table. He laid plates and napkins then served our dinner. It looked amazing.

"Wow, it looks amazing, you really worked for this," I said and he nodded scratching the back of his head with a smile.

"Yeah cooking is hard work," he said and I shook my head with a smile.

"I doesn't have to be hard work, it can be fun and enjoyable," I said getting a taste of his food.

"I beg to differ," he said and I giggled.

Time skip~

So yeah, Sasuke and I set there in the living room watching a movie. We kept commenting on other parts of the movie and laughing at some parts. When we were tired of watching movies we just set there chatting.

I was lying between Sasuke's legs, my head against his chest and he was playing with my hair. I am really enjoying myself. It feels like I finally have my Sasuke back.

And there was something I've been thinking about for weeks now since he started courting me again.

"I think we should go to bed," I said looking up at him. And he nodded.

"Yeah, I think so too," he said and we got up and walked upstairs together. We changed into comfortable clothes, I have been leaving some of my clothes behind since I started sleeping over.

We set on the bed facing each other, I was looking down at my fingers blushing slightly.

"Hey, what's wrong?," He asked with a smile, taking my hand into his larger one.

"Sasuke, I was thinking, you've been good to me for weeks now. You've been kind, gentle and patient with me but sometimes I get scared. Scared of what if you might go to someone else again or you get tired of me again. I've come to a decision and I'm so afraid to act on it," I started not looking at him.

"Naruto, love, I know I've been nothing but an ass to you for those eight months we've been together. And I regret it, I regret even taking a decision on getting back with Sakura, heck I don't know what I was thinking breaking your heart like that. But now I realize my mistake. The thought or the idea of me losing you, makes me want to lose my mind. Naruto, I love you, I love you so much and I'll do whatever it takes to show you that I'm serious about you about us and I don't care how long it takes, really I don't. Even if it takes five years or ten years, I don't care. As long as you are here by my side. I'm content with life," he said and I looked at his fingers. They weren't twitching and I smiled. He was being honest.

I looked up at his eyes and I saw nothing but love in them," But what about your father?, he wants you to marry Sakura," I asked and he shrugged.

"Then he will just get over the fact that I chose you," he said with so much seriousness in his voice. I smiled," Naruto I love you and no one can change that, I know my feelings, I know what I want and I want you," he said and I blushed smiling.

"I've come to a decision, I want us to be together again," I said looking up at him. He paused looking at me without blinking.

"W-What?," He asked stuttering a bit. I giggled shaking my head.

"I want us to get back together Sasuke, I'm taking you back. I know I've been difficult to you for weeks now but I know now that I'm sure we can make this work and the baby Sakura is carrying, I will love them as if they were my own," I said and he smiled big.

"Naruto are you serious!, Are you sure we can make this work!, I'm really happy but you sure this is what you want?!, Really want you want?!," He asked with hope in his eyes but the smile was still on his face.

"Yes I'm sure!!," I shouted with a smile and he got up from the bed taking me into his arms tightly twirling me around gently, I laughed loudly holding onto his shoulders.

"Oh God, I'm so happy you have no idea. Thank you Naruto, I promise I won't let you down this time," he said softly still holding onto me and I could feel wetness against my shoulder where he buried his face.

"I'm sure we will do good this time," I said softly as he set me on the ground gently. I looked up at him and wiped away the tears against his cheek and he held my hand there.

"I love you," he said looking down at me in the eyes.

"I love you too," I said with a smile and he leans in kissing me softly but passionately. He took me into his strong arms and lifted me and laid me down on the bed gently.

We took off our clothes and everything just felt right. We kissed, touched each other desperately and holding onto each other. It been months after all and those pent up emotions were finally surfacing, trying to remember every single detail and inch. Memorising our bodies once again.

That night, we made love slowly and carefully taking our time. We were in no rush after all.
