Chapter 35

Naruto's POV

I was sitting on the bed with Ino and Hinata. We were wearing kimonos in a villa we are staying in. It's been five days since we came in this exotic vacation and I'm loving every minute of it. Kiba and Sai are outside in a pool, drinking wine.

We were sitting with our legs crossed with cocktails in hand and chatting about things and laughing at the some things, then I changed the topic.

"So, Sasuke called yesterday," I said taking a sip from my cocktail.

"Really?," Hinata asked with a raised eyebrow," That's a first from him," she said and I nodded.

"What did he call about?," Ino asked with a frown.

"He wanted to check up on me," I said and they frowned.

"And why would he suddenly want to check up on you after all these months of giving you a cold shoulder?," Ino asked with a frown.

"I really don't know, but he won't be making a fool out of me because I know that there is something going on with him," I said and they nodded.

"Yeah, whatever is in the dark will come to light eventually," Hinata said with a smile.

"Yeah," I said with a nod.

"So tell us Naruto, why did you tell Sasuke that you will be coming home by next week because our vacation only takes up to six days, so by tomorrow we will be heading home?," Ino asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know, I just want to see what's going to happen," I said.

"So, you suspect that he's bringing someone home without your knowledge?," Hinata asked and again I shrugged.

"Possibly, because there are weird things going on in that mansion," I said and they leaned in.

"Oh yeah, what kind of weird things?," They asked and I leaned closer, telling them the whole thing. About the lingerie, the condoms and the lipstick.

Sasuke's POV

So we finally arrived in China. It was dark out and we are all feeling a bit tired after that trip. We dragged our suitcases heading towards a hotel that we booked in advance. We stopped at the lobby as I stood besides my brother as he addresses everyone.

"Okay guys, I know we are feeling a bit tired and we all want to rest and have a time to ourselves. So why don't we pick this up tomorrow, the meeting isn't till tomorrow anyway," he said and they all nodded.

"So why don't you go up to your rooms and freshen up, go to bed or do whatever but I don't want anyone late for tomorrow, tomorrow is a big day for us and I don't want to lose this deal. I hope I'm making myself clear?," Itachi asked.

"Crystal clear, Itachi-sama," Sakura said with a smile and I rolled my eyes. This girl really likes attention.

"Good, you may all leave to your reserved rooms," he said and they all walked up to their rooms, some using the elevator and some the stairs.

"I still don't think bringing Sakura to this trip was a good idea Itachi," I said as I walked besides my brother towards the elevator.

"Why you say that?," He asked looking as me with a frown.

"You know what she's like, she won't stop bothering me," I said shaking my head. He sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Sasuke, all you have to do is keep your distance from this girl and don't show her interest and show her that you won't tolerate her nonsense. It's that easy," he said with a shrug. I sighed,' If only it were that easy,' I thought.

"Have you spoken to Naruto yet?," He asked and I nodded.

"I spoke to him yesterday, he sounded like he was having fun. He sends his regards to you," I said and he smiled.

"I love that his having fun with his friends. He seemed so unhappy when he was around you," Itachi said and I frowned.

'He noticed that too,' I thought looking at the wooden floor.

"He's going to be happy again once he gets back," I said with a determination.

"I hope so or otherwise he's going to grow tired of you and eventually leave you. For good," he said as the elevator doors dinged open. I looked at him surprised.

"He would actually do that?," I asked a little terrified.

"Sasuke, Naruto is a living, breathing person who has feelings, he's not some object that's going to sit around and wait for you to treat him better. He can always leave you and never come back to you. I'm going to give you this advise and I want you to carry it with you. See the worth in what you have Sasuke because you can't always have it back once it's gone, and stop hanging around that girl," he said walking towards his room.

I sighed as I nodded walking towards my room. I walked through the door and towards my bed. I put my luggage on the side and laid down looking up the ceiling. What Itachi just said really got to me. Am I really ready to lose Naruto?, I think I'm not. I know that my actions are going to catch up to me.

Later in the evening I was woken up by a soft knock on my door and I frowned blinking the sleepiness away from my eyes. I got up slowly walking towards the door. There I found Sakura, in a short night dress that revealed her cleavage. What is up with this woman.

"Can I help you?," I asked with a frown.

"I'm feeling a bit lonely without you, can I come in?, Perhaps you can help me," she said with a seductive smile.

"No, you may not," I said closing the door feeling annoyed and irritated.

'She's getting on my nerves,' I thought as I walked towards the bathroom to change into comfortable clothes.
