Chapter 33

Sasuke's POV

I walked towards the garden with the maid leading me towards the specific place my mother was at. The garden was big and my mother loves to take care of it. I smiled as I found her trimming some bushes.

"There she is Uchiha-sama, and again forgive me for my shameful behavior from earlier," she said and I just sighed.

"It's fine, forget about it," I said and she nodded quickly walking away. I walked towards my mother and smiled.

"Mother," I said and she quickly looked at me with a smiled.

"Sasuke, you finally came," she said with a smile walking towards me hugging me tightly.

"Yes, you wanted to see me about something?," I asked and she gestures towards a nearby bench.

"Shall we?," She asked and I nodded we walked towards the bench and set down. She took off her rubber gloves and put them on the side.

"How was work?," She asked with a smile.

"Work was okay, Itachi just finished signing a major deal and we are going to China to sign another one," I said and she nodded with a smile.

"That sounds nice, I'm sure your father will be very proud of both of you," she said with a smile. I shook my head.

"I doubt that," I said and she shook her head.

"Your father may not say it or show it, but he's very proud of you Sasuke. He sees all your hard work and efforts, he just pushes you because he knows you can do better. He always brags about you to his friends," she said and I could see it in her eyes that she's being honest.

"Anyway that's not why I called you here honey, I just wanted to ask if everything's okay with you and Naruto. You two are not as close as you used to be?," She asked and I sighed.

"Naruto and I are fine mother, we just have a few problems here and there," I said and she nodded.

"What kind of problems are you two are dealing with?, maybe your father and I can help," she said.

"No mother, it's okay. I can handle everything, I've got everything planned out, I'm going to rekindle the romance between Naruto and I. You'll see, things will look better between us," I said and she sighed.

"If you're trying to fix things with Naruto, then why are you hanging around that pink haired girl?. Do you have any idea what she did to this family?," my mother asked and I nodded.

"Yes, I know what she did but rest assured that there's nothing going on between us anymore," I said and she frowned.

"So there was something going on between you two?," She asked looking at me in the eyes. I hate it when she does that because I can not lie to her easily.

"Mom, if I tell you this, promise me you won't tell anyone even Naruto. Promise me you won't hate me for the rest of your life?," I asked her and she frowned.

"Sasuke, if it's rea-," she started but I cut her off.

"Promise me mother," I said and she sighed.

"I promise," she said.

"Okay," I started with a nervous sigh," For the past eight months, I've been...," I paused to take a deep breath trying to calm my rapidly beating heart. She put her soft hand on top of my shoulder, trying to reassure me.

"It's okay Sasuke, just take your time. It's okay," she said with a smile.

"That's the thing mother, it's not okay, it's really isn't," I said shaking my head," okay, for the past eight months. I've been seeing someone," I said looking at her and she frowned in confusion.

"Okay, in what manner were you seeing this person?," She asked confused.

"I've been, oh God, I've been basically sneaking out the house to see this person at night," I said, it was the easiest way to say it to her.

"So you were having an affair with this person for eight months?," She asked slowly and I nodded not looking at her, feeling ashamed.

"Yes," I said softly.

"Do I know them?," She asked and I nodded slowly.

"Yeah," I said my heart pounding against my chest.

"What are their name?," She asked rather calmly. This calm facade is really scaring me.

"Mom, I don't think it's a go-,"

"What are their names, Sasuke?," She asked once again cutting me off in that same calm voice of hers.

"It's Sakura Haruno," I said looking down at my fingers.

"So you have been basically cheating on this family's pride and joy with a girl who almost ruined my life, costing me millions of dollars and the reputation of this family," she said slowly in that same calm voice.

"Mother please," I started.

"Do know the things she said about me, the things she did to my products and name. She called me a fraud, calling my products fake, saying that my lotions are fake and that it will cause people a bad rash and they must stop buying my products, she even sent a fake photo to add extra measures. She even sent a fake photo on all social network, saying that I'm with a man and I'm cheating on my husband who I've been married to for thirty years. That girl almost cost me my marriage Sasuke," she said pausing for a moment tears running her face.

"That girl, almost cost me my business and married. The two things I value the most and the two things I'm proud of and you are telling me right now that you want to take this girl back!!!," She shouted standing.

"No mother, that's not what I'm saying," I said trying to calm her down.

"I am so disappointed in you, Sasuke," she said walking again. I sighed as I shook my head.
